Young British Muslims Getting More Radical
This headline describes the results of a public opinion survey produced by the respected London think-tank
Policy Exchange.
Forty percent of Muslims between the ages of 16 and 24 said they would rather live under Sharia law in Britain. One in eight young Muslims admire groups such as Al -Qa'eda. While 36 percent believe that a Muslim who coverts to another faith should be "punished by death."
Broadcaster Munira Mizra said, "The emergence of a strong Muslim identity in Britain is, in part, a result of multicultural policies implemented since the 1980s....."
