In Jerusalem, On The First Day of Hannukah
The City of David Foundation is reporting that a British volunteer has unearthed the largest cache of ancient coins ever found in Jerusalem. 264 gold coins aged 1,400 years. The coins have a portrait of what appears to be the Byzantine Emperor Heraculis who reigned from 610 to 641.

Such archeological finds are treasures that the State of Israel protects for the international community. While Israel protects, the Muslim Religious Authority (WAQF) has a long history of destroying Jewish and Christian antiquities on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. They do this to help their ridiculous contention that Solomon's Temple never existed.

This is another reason why Jerusalem should remain the undivided capital of the State of Israel.

UPDATE on the coins at Power Line.
