On Monday, the Likud part in Israel will hold its primary race.  Yechiel Leiter, One Jerusalem's Founding Director, is among those running.  Yechiel has always been a strong and vocal supporter of a united Jerusalem.

When One Jerusalem was founded to protest Bill Clinton and Ehud Barak's plan to divide Jerusalem, Yechiel immediately stepped up to the plate and organized the largest rally in Israel's history.

Yechiel is a talented orator and accomplished public servant.  He has served as the  Director General of the Finance and Education Ministries and was Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Chief of Staff.

This week Yechiel made headlines in Israel for creating a brilliant jib-jab like viral clip that appears on his website.  It is a funny, yet sadly accurate portrayal of those currently leading the State of Israel.  It is worth watching even if you don't speak Hebrew. Click here to watch. 

With the all the current dangers facing the State of Israel we hope and pray that Israel is fortunate enough to be served by a public servant as dedicated as Yechiel.  We wish Yechiel our best of luck come Monday, we are rooting for you.
