Obama Team Engages Anti-Semites
For months, One Jerusalem has expressed concern about several of President Obama's foreign policy advisers.
The first set of foreign policy initiatives by the Obama Administration appear to confirm our worst fears. President Obama made the President of the Palestinian Authority the recipient of his first call to a foreign leader, his first interview was a guest of a Saudi television station, his Administration has moved to undermine the international policy of isolating the terrorist states of Syria and Iran and now President Obama's advisers Susan Rice and Samantha Power have succeeded in getting Hillary Clinton to support American participation in planning the anti-semtic conference
Durban 2. This is sharp break with American policy up to now. From The American Thinker:
"
The Bush administration agreed with Israel last year
that the U.S. would not participate unless it received guarantees that
the conference would not become a stage for Antisemitism and one-sided
criticism of Israel, as occurred during the first Durban meeting in
2001."
On Yom Kippur, the United Nations held a planning meeting for Durban 2. You can watch the prelude to what is to be a lynching of Israel.
Obama's move to participate in Durban 2 is in line with a sharp repositioning of American policy. Where Israel has been treated as the ally it is, now Obama will treat it as an equal to Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, etc. and it will defer American policy to anti-Israel organizations like the United Nations.
Friends and supporters of Israel should not deceive themselves into thinking that the Obama Administration is friendly toward Israel. Changing America's position on Durban 2 is a very troubling and hostile act.
Thank you for the information. I came here via Seraphic Secret.
As a person who finds religious significance in all major events in the world, I think it is worth noting that Yom Kippur of 2008 was the 3rd largest Dow Jones Industrial Average point drop in history. (The 2nd was Rosh Hoshana 2001; the largest was Rosh Hoshana 2008.)
All these events are intertwined in some way...
