Olmert Admits He Offered to Divide Jerusalem including Western Wall

Over the years One Jerusalem has reported that Prime Minister Olmert was offering to give away parts of Jerusalem. Now the outgoing Prime Minister is confirming this story that he had denied.

Olmert has told Israel's press that he offered Abbas 93% of the West Bank and parts of Jerusalem. And he was prepared to turn the Holy Sites, including the holiest sites in Judaism,over to some undefined international entity.

Olmert's final offer to Abbas, would have provided terrorists with an advance base of operations in Jerusalem and it would have turned over the Old City to an international community that is hostile to the State of Israel.

In Israel's latest national elections the Israeli public decisively rejected dividing Jerusalem.

I just wanted to say that Mr. Olmert dos'nt realize that Israel is not for sale.
What is he so scare of? This land is'nt for him to give. Did he ask God if that was O.K. with Him?

I'm glad you all got Olmert out of there before he actually tore up Jerusalem from the heart of Israel and the hearts of your people worldwide in this way. As a Christian, I am also glad the Christians in Jerusalem will have the protection of the Israelis -- if Olmert had succeeded, it would be Nazareth and Bethlehem all over. Their lives wouldn't be safe at all.

I have faith in Israel; you all are God's Chosen people and we love your land and you. Thank God you now have Netanyahu; I believe he will be strong for you.

How on earth did he ever ascend into the highest office of the land is beyond our comprehension. Israel must now open her eyes to never again elect armchair and lame duck politicians who could sell out Israel without even blinking their eyes. He is a traitor and a disgrace to the hopes and aspirations of every Jew and Christian in this world for a Jerusalem for Jews only.
