The New York Times reports that the President of General Assembly has publicly defended Iran's rabidly anti-Semitic President against criticisms by the United States and Israel.

Nicaragua's Miguel d'Escoto Brookmann also supported Sudan's extermination of people in Darfur. Brookmann, according to the Times, "lashed out" at the critics of Iran and he denounced the International Court of Justice's decision to prosecute Sudan's President.

Brookmann represents a government that is dominated by Marxists aligned with Chavez's Venezualia.
