One Jerusalem Highly Recommends
Warren Kozak, our dear friend and supporter, has written a superb biography of an important figure in recent American and military history: General Curtis LeMay.

During his productive career General LeMay attracted attention of friends and foes. Even renowned filmmaker Stanley Kubrick developed a character based on LeMay in his classic Dr. Strangelove.

Lemay.jpgLeMay served his country with distinction. He is considered the father of the modern United States Air Force. Like officers in the Israel Defense Force he led his troops into battle. Like great military leaders everywhere he learned from experience and he applied his experiences as he became one of the most important military innovators in the 20th century.

LeMay served in World War Two, Korea, and the Vietnam wars. He was a fighting General. And to this day, men who served with him testify that he had a lasting impact on their lives.

Warren's biography delves into the character of this larger than life figure. The book is also a valuable history of the 1960s. LeMay interacted with President Kennedy, McNamara, and the Camelot team. LeMay's government interactions with the high and mighty are excellent insights into how government decision making operates.

Warren writes, "This country needed a man like Curtis LeMay in World War II and the Cold War."

We predict you will enjoy and learn from LeMay: The Life and Times of General Curtis LeMay
