Obama's Double Standard: Enemies Before Allies
Within hours after Honduran President Manuel Zelaya was ejected from his country, President Obama forcefully declared support for the Leftist Dictator -- friend of Chavez and Castro. Obama justified his stance by declaring that the rule of law must reign supreme and that democracy must be upheld.
Besides
deliberately mis-characterizing the nature of what went on in Honduras (in fact the military acted to defend the country from the designs of an autocrat) it is striking that Obama is quick to come to the defense of a would be tin-horned dictator but is hesitant and sometimes outright hostile in supporting democratic forces in Iran. In fact, the Obama Administration is still seeking to negotiate a deal with Ahmadinejad and the Ayatollah who are using all the powers of the Islamic Republic to violently repress the peaceful protests against a rigged election.
While Obama has refrained from taking international action against Iran it actively supported the United Nation's General Assembly support for Manuel Zelaya. Obama clearly does not care that Zelaya was disposed because (like his friend Chavez) he had broken the laws of Honduras as he strove toward undermining the country's constitutional system.
Unlike the Iranian regime, the new regime in Honduras is committed to holding new elections
this year. But even this has not stopped Obama from joining the international mob of anti-American states in condemning the new government. (And Obama has some help from his
media friends.)
Of course, anyone following Obama's policies toward Israel will not be surprised by this course of events. Obama has shown no respect for Israel's government as he has demanded that Israel adopt his policies on Jerusalem, settlements, etc. At the same time, he refuses to disagree with the dictatorial regime in Iran.
Obama is very afraid! If he took the stance he should he would be opening the door for the same thing to happen to him. What would happen if all our troops returned to a country they barely recognize? He should be afraid, very afraid!
President Obama, I believe could be starting to contemplate in making America some kind of a Socialist country totally different from the socialism/communism of today.
Countries that continuously receives economic support from US should be thankful.
Is not Israel practicing some kind of communism too such as the kibbutzim?

I heard that Obama was reluctant to criticize Zalaya because Obama himself wants to have the constitution changed, if he wins re-election, so that he can run for a third term. If you are going to act like a dictator you will not criticize a dictator. Why did people vote for Obama?
I`m glad to see that I am not the only one who sees that Zayala was attempting to go against the laws of his nation. Obama`s actions are surely against supporting the democratic legislation of Honduras in his attempt to satisfy the piranas of Latin America and strengthen their hold on the countries in which they have stolen votes and berate democracy.Obama may be a good talker but even if his aims are to make the world a better place, he sure is willing to sacrifice a great many people with his naivity in supporting his enemies.
Just as the Prophets of Old, wept over Israel, so now we weep over America. We have been betrayed by our President. Israel AND America will have to pay dearly. May G-d help us all.
One little acknowledged aim of Obama is the furtherance of One World Govt. - through the UN. Bearing that in mind, his support of dictatorships with influence in the UN, and his betrayal of democracies despised by the UN begin to make sense.
What is clear is that a great many of the American people are unaware of the peril they are in. They are lead astray by the national media which is in love with Obama. So many want his promised change. Yet will they be happy and content when it finally arrives? The Germans demanded change they received it it is said a great many had regrets but who spoke out? They say they lived in fear but who spoke out? they said odd but did they? Jews of that time received the end results of that change. It seems that those who do not study history are as they say destined to repeat it.Change is on its way may but it is not the change the American people think ........
It is becoming painfully clear that Obama's marxist/socialist ideals and actions are causing havoc not only in the US but around the world. That he readily supports this type of dictator along with his support of the regime in Iran further illustrates that he cares nothing for democracy or those brave citizens who would stand against the oppressors. A very sad time to be an American.
With every passing day, with every passing domestic policy announcement, and with every passing international incident, the absolute unscrupulousness of the Barack Obama administration is becoming evident. Obama betrays close allies while bloodthirsty anti American dictators are praised and cossetted, Obama packs presidential press conferences with Obama supporters with their questions vetted in advance, Obama has his supporters in the Congress and Senate cut off serious in depth debate and pass expensive and entitlement bloated bills in the dead of night, and Obama who campaigned on openness and change simply ignores or belittles anyone who points out how inconsistent his Presidential behavior is when he violates every campaign promise and platform he and his party espoused. Obama is the perfect Left wing piece of work, and when he is done, if he isn't stopped, America will be an economic and social wreck.
