Palestinians Host Foreign Official in Jerusalem
For the last month or two, there appears to be another concerted campaign to challenge Israel's sovereignty over Jerusalem and to establish Palestinian rights in the holy city.

In December the European Union proclaimed that Jerusalem should be the capital of a Palestinian State.

This month the Palestinian Authority officially hosted Norway's Foreign Minister in Jerusalem. Make no mistake the choice of Jerusalem was deliberate. It is part of the process of using the city as the capital of the Palestinians. This meeting took place soon after the Quartet declared their support for opening Palestinian institutions in Jerusalem.

In addition to this international campaign to pressure Israel to divide its capital city, Arab and leftist activists have repeatedly challenged Israel's right to move against illegal Arab houses in Jerusalem and it attempts to stop Jews from living in so-called "East Jerusalem." Jerusalem's Mayor has even had to challenge his own government in the defense of Jewish residents in Israel's capital city.

It is important to always keep in mind what is meant by East Jerusalem. First the constant repeating of the term is central to the plan of getting people to think that the city is naturally divisible -- that it is unnatural to think of it as one entity. The term East Jerusalem has come to stand for an area that is naturally an Arab area. It is not.

The Palestinian and the European Union include the Old City and the Temple Mount in East Jerusalem. The last time they controlled that area they chased (and killed) Jews as they ejected them from the Jewish Quarter. From 1948 to 1967 Jews could not live or visit the Old City.

All this talk about creating a Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem is talk about turning back the clock and re-creating a situation in which Jews and most Christians could not enter the Old City. We must not let this happen. We must support the State of Israel in its efforts to keep Jerusalem as it is. We must support the State of Israel and the City of Jerusalem as it fights for the rights of Jews to live any where in Jerusalem that they wish to live in.

One one way to be part of this effort is to sign the petition for a united Jerusalem and to get friends and family to do the same. We need to continuously mobilize our supporters to keep them informed and to bolster the leaders of the Jewish State.

All I have to say to anyone telling Israel what to do with thier land is to remember

Joel 3:1-2 !!!!

I like it when the Muslims, the E.U. And whoever else doesn't know the Scriptures on how God feels about Israel , Jerusalem, His chosen people, His land. It wont be pretty when He rebukes these nations. God Bless Israel

The following is what may happen on an almost escalating daily basis under PLA rule in a divided Jerusalem:

Visiting Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher was released from hospital today after being assaulted by radical Muslims while he went to pray at Jerusalem's mosque compound.
Witnesses said that members of the fringe Islamic Liberation Party had tried to physically attack the 68-year-old minister at the flashpoint Al-Aqsa mosque compound, but were barred by Maher's security guards.
"As he was reaching the entrance to the mosque, crowds of worshippers shouted 'traitor', why are you coming to pray in an occupied land?" the spokesman told AFP.

Problem is, neither the Europeans nor the Palestinian Leadership realise that this will stop with neither a divided Jerusalem nor with a Palestinian Capital there. Arabs, Muslims and Palestinians the world-over are indoctrinated to believe the combination of Arab Nationalist and Supercessory Islamic hype that an Islamic Caliphate of Palestine is the Divinely-ordained replacement for both a European (Roman) Christian and Judean presence there. I could cite voluminous references to show that, overwhelmingly, the majorities of the three overlapping Human Demographic and Population Groups named above regard that ALL Jerusalem and ALL of Israel IS occupied territory.

They will--put as succinctly as possible--never stop!

Remember Neville Chamberlain!

Created by Rome after the destruction of Judea, Samaria, Idumea, Phoenicia, Moab, Midyan and Ammon (today the capital of Jordan which is a large portion of the ancient Roman designation and probably more than 75% of the original British Mandate for Palestine) during the first century of the Roman Calendar (RC), Palestine is a term favoured by the Romans because in their-then malignant, atrocious and profane lack of culture they preferred to fancy themselves "Greeks". Pelishtim were Mediterranean coastal people who were thought to be of a mixed Aegean/Phoenician origin, i.e.; they were Greeks.

As the European Union or, as it was called even until the late 1980's, "The Club of Rome," continues to strut and parade it's appeasement and embrace of Islam arm-in-arm with Palestinian Dignitaries, it is necessary to remember a few things about His and Her Excellencies Mahmoud Abbas, Hanan Ashwari Et Al. Despite their worthiness and pedigree as members of diplomatic society they have little actual influence, no actual power, are merely presently tolerated by the militants for being necessary or convenient agents for Islamic Rule, and WILL find themselves in EXACTLY the same position as Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher in a post-Final Status Universe.

How naive can the Euros and the PA be?

Isn't it curious the silence on this subject proceeding from our new international heroes and the MOST POPULAR COUPLE IN ISRAEL? Who, you ask? King Abdullah and Queen Consort Rania of the Hashemite Kingdom. Golly, I guess Jews don't hate ALL Arabs, huh?!?!

Thank you for the clarification on "East Jerusalem." I was not aware of that. Regarding the division or parceling out of Jerusalem, the first thought that came to my mind was Joel chapter three. Since Sher also referred to that chapter, I would like to quoate verses one to three:

"In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgmet against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land. They cast lots for my people and traded boys for prostitutes; they sold girls for wine that they might drink".

The European Union would do well to know that if they insist on dividing Jerusalem they are signing over their own demise or death warrant. It would be in their best interest to also read Zecharia 12:1-4.
