The insensitivity of New York's Muslim population is astounding. They should build their mosque in Mecca or Medina, and if they want to show a face of compassion, they should do something useful for the families of the victims. I really don't understand what is wrong with building a mosque by Ground Zero. It isn't like the entire Muslim religion is a terrorist religion. It seems that only the fanatics are terrorists. The rest of Islam should be left in peace, to build worship houses where they want. The comparison to the kamikazi is not parallel; the kamikazi were all "suicide bombers", but not all Muslims are terrorists.

Never in my nearly 59 years do I recall feeling as disgusted as I do now.
I work in security and deal daily with political idiots that have made to their destruction, political correctness their religion.
The very area that I supposedly protect has been literally invaded by Muslims, in the presence of the public they will go into their prayers. Concerned citizens will report to me that they are both frightened and wonder what could be done. Unfortunately I have to tell them that "sorry they work here." I daily experience them looking at me with contempt and disdain, I can do nothing about this.

Israel must be strong and anticipate the threat of Iran's vows to wipe it off the map and strike before Iran does as this is the only way it will survive.
Public Opinion must not deter what Israel must do to protect itself and seeing that the Obama administration has turned against Israel, so Israel must, once again go it alone. This, unfortunately will be the beginning of a horrific war as has been predicted by the King of Jordan.
If Israel goes down, this will be the end of Western Democratic life as we know it, as Islam has spread its tenticles throughout the world, causing upheaval and terror that we see in every day life. The West had better change their way of dealing with the imminent threat before it is too late.

They deny the right to practise their own culture in favour of trampling them by bending over backwards to please Muslims, who often did not even ask for it at all, such as the removal of piggybanks from Bank counters in the UK, because they would be offensive to Muslims (while nobody worried about Jews being offended by them. After all, they invented the prohibition against eating pork, but they would not be offended anyway). Many people in Europe are already resigned to the fact that soon they'll have to apply Sharia law. Beating back the Muslims from Vienna and out of Spain in the Middle Ages was obviously a wasted effort as now they conquer Europe by stealth. Just a suggestion - agree to having the mosque built, but specify that work may not start on it until the Christian cathedral and Jewish synagogue in Riyadh are completed. That'll fix it!

To those who say its unfair to restrict the building of a mosque keep this mind. Unlike Jews, Catholics, Shiks, Protestants, etc. big bawdy mosques are not built with funds from the community -- the funds come from Saudi Arabia and other Muslim states. This week the imam of this NY proposed mosque told a British newspaper that the Saudis were going to help fund this mosque. The Saudis have used this propaganda tool in the past. They have also said that they finance the building of mosques to spread Islam all over the world. That is why signaling out mosques that are propaganda tools is fully justified.
