Rally Against Proposed 9-11 Mosque
One Jerusalem attended the rally today against a proposed Mosque and Islamic center just 600 feet from Ground Zero. Thousands of people came out to protest despite the threat of stormy weather. Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer were the prime organizers of this important event.

The people we interviewed are G-d fearing Americans who don't want their country and city to help those who killed so many innocent people. It is clear to these people that a Mosque at Ground Zero would be a propaganda coup for the enemies of the United States.  Imagine Al Jazeera covering the ribbon cutting for a Mosque just feet from greatest Islamic tragedy of all.

Several speakers lost close family members on 9-11. Some attended the community board hearings on the mosque and described how opponents of the Mosque were all tagged as being racist. Mayor Bloomberg's support for the Mosque and Senator Schumer's absence from the rally came in for criticism. Jay Townsend who is running against Schumer showed up and revved up the crowd with the cry "Not Here, Not Now."

Yesterday's New York Post published an article that shows connections between the Mosques imam and the radicals who organized the flotilla that is challenging Israel. A few speakers asked how the city can approve this plan when the source of the hundreds of millions of dollars needed to purchase the property remains unknown. You can be fairly certain there is Saudi terror money in this transaction.
