Dear Congressman Pence, I am a Messianic Jew and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support of Israel. My family and I are planning to make Aliyah or move to Israel in the next 3 years. Please keep fighting for our little country that so many, including our President, seem to be against. Thank you and may the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob bless you and yours always!! Shalom Joan Overton

Congressman Pence, Do you think there is any possibility you could help President Bush develop a correct perspective on Israel? We never dreamed when electing him that he would be so blind about the current issues. Thank you for making sound decisions and supporting Israel in difficult times. You are in my prayers. Shalom, Patricia Roudebush

Congressman Pence, G-d has sent men like you to represent goodness and honor in this world. You are needed to help in that task. America is greater because of you and tiny Israel welcomes your friendship.

What a good guy and how surprising. I urge this Congressman to get my Congressional delegation (Weiner, McCarthy, Ackerman) to get on board immediately. This was a disgrace but we have it right in NYC at Columbia University...and where is our delegation on that? All should see Columbia Unbecoming. Thanks Congressman, wish I could vote for you!

I urge Christians (especially spirit-filled and evangelical)to sit down with Jewish leaders and finally have a sitdown and find some common ground. There is now reason for any anti-semitism from born-again christians not an ounce!!! It's time we bind ourselves in unity because this world is growing ever so hostile to us and it doesn't seem to be letting up. We need to hold our politicians accountable for not standing ground against a growing hatred for Jews and Christians in this country, Europe and the UN. Enough is enough!!

Dear Congressman Pence, I want to thank you for supporting Israel. We need more in congress who will do that. Please accept my deepest gratitude for giving them support in our congress, and across party lines. We need more congressmen and women like you. God bless you. billy kirwan in California

I am not computer literate-I don't know what url stands for. I agree with the Senator regarding Israel. I do not like the pressure put on Israel by the US and Arab world. I doubt that the Arabs want peace-They engage in polemics. Non-Jews in America know nothing about Israel except what the press presents- it is negative on the whole. Intelligent people do not demonstrate respect at all towards Israel. They say, in essence, that Israel is inflexible-I do not think that they like Israel (and Jews) at all. Yes, the Holy Land-Christians; Moslems: the Kotel. How very sick and stupid people are. Same old anti Semitism. Sick........

I've been following Pence over the past couple of years and believe he's the real deal. He's taken tough stands against his own party and President Bush when it went against his principles. We appreciate his leadership in supporting Israel and his strong line against the PLA and terrorists. Keep an eye on this guy.

United Jerusalem Petition
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, to ensure free and open access for all people.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, as an expression of the unique relationship between the Jewish People and its eternal capital.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, so as never to return to the dark period of 1947-67, when Arab control over an artificially divided Jerusalem meant religious persecution, desecration of holy sites, and wanton destruction.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, according to the current municipal boundaries, set in the wake of Israel’s defensive 1967 Six Day War.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, where Jews may enjoy the right to pray on the Temple Mount, the holiest site in the Jewish world.
Preserve The Temple Mount
  • For a decade, Muslim religious authorities have participated in the destruction and elimination of precious Jewish and Christian artifacts on the site of Solomon's Temple, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
  • Thousands of tons of earth, containing archaeological evidence dating back to the period of the Temple of Solomon, were discarded. Among the 'rubble' were ancient seals from a Priestly family, inscribed pottery fragments in Ancient Hebrew, Altar screens and broken columns from a fourth century Byzantine Church.
  • Since the year 2000, the Muslim religious authority – the Waqf - has blocked all archaeological oversight of the Temple Mount.
  • Meanwhile, the Waqf continues to construct Mosques on the sacred sites of Jews and Christians.
  • We believe the international and Israeli media should have unrestricted access to the Temple Mount.
  • We believe the world-respected Israeli Antiquities Authority be empowered to supervise the day to day activities on the Temple Mount.
  • Currently, the Waqf forbids any non-Muslim entrance, except on a selective and very limited basis. For instance, the Waqf does not give any observers access inside the vast subterranean rooms, from which many antiquities have been removed.
  • We demand the preservation and respect of the Temple Mount. Only full access and complete transparency for all parts of the Temple Mount can prevent further abuse and destruction of this site which has been venerated throughout history.
