Help Israel -- Vote Now
[07.14.2006]
Every country has the right to defend themselves and I'll never understand why we expect differently of Israel.
I think history has shown that if you give these terrorists and inch, they'll take you for all your worth, and more. We should have Israel's back on this one.

No one denies that Hizbullah started the fight, with its unprovoked incursion into Israel, and no one doubts that Israel can win it, at least in conventional terms. But that's not what matters as much as public perceptions, and the impact those perceptions have from Tehran to Cairo. The fires in Gaza, Lebanon and Iraq risk converging, if not on the ground, then in that virtual reality

How can you possibly blame Israel for the violence in the Middle East?! They did nothing to provoke Hezbollah, but Hezbollah is trying to destroy them! Those Europeans aren't much help to Israel either! And now my fellow Americans are blaming Israel, calling them terrorists! Not cool!

Israel belongs to the Chosen People, which are the Jewish people, therefore no one has the right to dispute this.
If in doubt, read your Bible, no matter which version it is, its there.
God will bless those who bless them, and curse those who cure them.
Praise God for his People!

The world has short memory and an endemic antiSemitism towards Israel. The war that is portrayed in stages through the press is a continued assault on the existence of Israel. The origen of the conflict is the inability of the Arabs to accept the fact that Israel must exist. The United Nations Partition was rejected by them and their aims continue to be the destruction of Israel, everything else are clever pretexts to blurr their real aims. Even "Palestine" as a country is a myth perpetuated on ignorance since the Arabs had done everything possible not to have such State as part of their strategy with the aim to destroy Israel. We must call for the conciousness of Humanity to unite behind Israel and see the real "disproportion" of judgement on the part of the enemies of Israel and by implication of Western Civilization and Humanity.

there can NEVER be peace in the MIDDLE EAST as advocated by the USA two (2) nations side by side in the G-D given land of ISRAEL. The entire area of ISRAEL belongs to all the JEWS. The so called palestinians have their own land in JORDAN. Appeasement is no answer to PEACE as has been demonstrated rather it is counter productive. When will we JEWS wake up and to the right thing.
NO PALESTINIAN STATE. JORDAN IS THEIR STATE..!

Indeed what is happening in the ME is tragic as innocent civilians on both sides are caught up in the fracas. If the Hamas and the Hezbolla had not started this conflict by adbductin the IDF soldiers, we would not be talking now. It would appear that they must have planned this to coincide with the G8 to distract something. May be we will know or not

Israel needs to teach Hiz-bully-ah & Ha-what-a-mess that they cannot with impunity commit unprovoked acts of aggression against her citizens. Like every government she must protect them. This continuous absurd chant from the world-at-large to "use restraint" is ridiculous when aimed at that most restrained of countries, Israel.

For 60 years Israel has endured the impertinence of the community of nations. An attack occurs. Israel reacts in defense and gains the upper hand on its opponents. Next, there is an outcry that Israel cease fire and back-up. Israel ceases its military action, backs up and waits for its opponents to produce as promised or intended.
The opponents do not control their reactionary militants, do not even speak against them, and allow continued attacks on Israel !
Right now we are in the "outcry" of the community of nations for Israel to show "balanced" military action. Indeed !!
Israel should say, "Not this time. We have backed up enough. No more attacks or you will feel the same reactions everytime".
Let the "Arab community" now speak of restraint to the militants. Where is that voice?

Israel is entitled to defend itself and is 100% correct in doing so. This violence was not begun by Israel. It was started by the Arabs in 1948 when they began their efforts to remove Israel from its land and kill the Jewish People. What's going on now is just the Arabs' latest effort to eliminate Israel.

With all this going on in Israel and Hammas, one would think I would have a much stronger support system to ensure that for my Jewish child. If he gets visitation that isn't controlled, he will have the ability to brainwash my little boy when he is around towards a confusing battle. Islam vs. Judisum. I think our personal battle should afford me alot of legal and politcal support from my country in terms of my and my son's rights to be a Jew in America. Mistakes have been made in the past but Muslims are showing their true colors to all of us. My son's father is no different. The current situation has been started by Arab terrorists tunnelling into Israel & murdering Israeli soldiers & kidnapping three members of the IDF. The USA Britain & France have in the past used force to retrieve their personnel from aggressors, so why not Israel ?
The current administrations in Gaza & Lebanon have one thing in common, that is that they cannot control extreme groups that masquerade as political parties & have personal armies that not only terrorise their own countries & also the state of Israel. They also obstruct the social, political & economic development of the countries that they hail from.
The state of Israel is justified to take what ever action it deems necessary to secure its soldiers safe return & secure its borders from uncompromising enemies.

Maybe if Bush had gone in full force 3 years ago like Israel has responded in the last week, Israel wouldn't have had to deal with the terrorists. Bush needs to be impeached for his abuse of power and inept leadership.
I notice this is a UK site. I guess they've forgotten already the attacks last year and the decades of war with the IRA. It's so easy to pass judgement based on prejudices. However, it's the British government that allowed the Arabs to have such a heavy foothold in England. Especially in London. 15 years ago I was there and noticed the heavy Arabic citizenry.
Does this have something to do with the fact that Britain occupied Israel prior to re-established Israel? It's time for the antiSemitic rhetoric to stop and think what you would do if your neighbor has spent your whole life attacking you. You give up certain things to obtain peace, yet that is not enough because your neighbor will not stop unless you are dead. More importantly, unlike soldiers in a war, these guerillas kidnap innocents and worst of all, have no regard for life, proclaiming that they will target your children and worse than that, send their children to be martyrs promising them paradise from the time the child can speak and walk and then actually celebrate when their own children die.
Would you celebrate your own childs' death by suicide while targeting innocent citizens and the children of your neighbor?

When a nation fires rockets into another and then
kills and kinapes its soldiers it is an act of war and should be treated as such. Even more so when a country [Iran] takes hostage over 300 Americans, takes over that country's embassy and defies the world -- an absolute causis belli.
Carter, being a very weak president, sent all this in motion. Hopefully Israel will act with greater determination and power.

Israel has shown phenomenal restraint in handling all the problems with the Palestinians. Don't take it to heart when people criticize you for bombing "civilian" populations. The terrorists set things up so that is necessary; that's THEIR fault. Israel has a right to defend herself. I'm getting really tired of all the criticism, and a lot of it is antisemitic. God gave you that land, and it's yours. Nothing else matters. Yes, Israel makes mistakes. We all do. But the overall way in which Israel has conducted herself is correct. The Palestinian leadership is basically insane.

Once again we see many of the world leaders asking Israel to show restraint. However since Israel left the Gaza strip last year the Hamas and others have continually attacked the Israeli population without restraint. Now we are seeing a copycat senario with Hezbollah from Lebanon. My question is quite simple - How do you ask Hamas and Hezbollah to show restraint when their sole aim is to wipe Israel and its people off the face of the earth. They could, of course, invest in their own people but that takes responsibility it is obviousl far easier to launch rockets and send in homicide bombers to slaughter as many Israelis as possible. I say Israelis as this includes Moslems and Christians as well as Jews.

Our hopes and prayers are with Israel. It is time for everyone to see that "Land for Peace" or any compromise with Islamic terrorists will not work. The answer is to make it very unhealthy for an Islamic Nation to support the extreme element in their midst. Maybe this will force those nations to take charge and to finally put an end to their terrorist groups.
I only hope that the US will not go along with those wanting Israel to back off. They have put up with enough. Maybe Lybia will think twice before crossing into Israel to kill and take hostages. No coutry would allow this. Saying, "Please" won't work with those willing to die to kill or take hostages in Israel or wherever freedom exists.

Hopefully Olmert has finally awakened. Hopefully Olmert has come to the realization that peace can only be achieved if and when the enemy (Palestinians, Hizbullah, Islamic Jihad,) are defeated, the latter two are completely anihalated. Then Israel can negotiate as did the Allies after defeating Germany in WW II. Any breaking off after a temporary respite will only invite more of the same as has been the situation in the past. With US backing this time and a friendly administration Israel should install a military government, followed by a moderate Lebanese government with which Israel can sign a peace treaty.

This action by Hamas and Hezbollah precipitated the proper retaliation by Israel.

For over two years now, Israel has been doing nothing but make peace gestures and the usual gruesome gaggle of islamists have interpreted this as weakness to be exploited.
Enough is enough: let's roll, Israel!

I can't understand how any thinking person could oppose or object to the defensive move by Israel in attacking Hezbollah in Lebanon and those who, by failing in their duty to oppose Hezbollah, must assume some responsibity for the actions of that terror group.

Unlike the Jews the Palestenians never had sovereignty over Jerusalem. Only under Jewish rule have all three major world religions given the rights to practice freely. Only by keeping a united Jerusalem under Israeli rule will Jerusalem by free city for all.

Christians everywhere should support Israel, God's Chosen People. They are now in a battle for their survival against the forces of Islam who are determined to exterminate them from the face of the earth.May GOD bless Israel and America, and they should stand firm together against this extremist foe.

The Israeli government under the US pressure vilified Rabbi Kahane because he was a threat to their power. Rabbi Kahane predicted and warned about the current situation with the Arabs but he was silenced and smeared in the media.
Had the Arabs been removed from Gaza instead of Jews, no terror would come out of there. Rabbi Kahane felt the pain of every Jewish victim of terror and would have unleashed the Israeli army on them to put an end to their terror instead of the government tying the army's hands so they can't do much against the Arabs.
Rabbi Kahane proved to be right about the Arab problem in spite of all the smear tactics.

Israel is God's chosen people. They are not the terrorists and are not the uncivilized ones. Throughout history the Jews have been a target. Why are we letting it happen again?

There is no other way. If they did not do it, then Hezbollah would be kidnapping all the time. There is no negotiating with those Terrorists. GO ISRAEL.

Please pray hard for all of us living in northern Israel that the bloodshed will soon end and we'll be able to return to our peaceful lives.

Appeasement has not worked nor has turning the other cheek,it is the duty of those elected to protect the peoples, Israel has the right the duty to stand against terror and the first duty of the goverment is to please and appease the peoples not the world.

As usual, Israel is criticized for defending herself. She is the best friend we have. It is my devoted duty to defend and stand for Israel, always, as a woman and as a christian. I love the jewish people anyway and they are showing Washington how it is done. We should stand strong like Israel instead of tip toing, trying to spare feelings or pat our enemies (the stupid world out there, the arabs and the dam democrats liberals in this country) and at the same time tell Israel to cool it. How shameful, how daring for our politicians to tell Israel, stand still, have your men, women and children killed and murdered but do not defend yourself. No, nobody should accept the islamic way, intolerant and cruel and inhuman. They are barbaric with one end in mind and in their wicked heart, the end of Israel and her friends. In america we are scarcely her friend, we do not stand strong enough for her because politicians whom we send to Washington are scary cats. I voted for Bush and Cornyn and Hutchison, year after year, but they better behave and speak for me or they will loose supporters. The time is so critical, and we need not to cave before unorthodox ways used by a bunch of radical islamic varmit. You do not discuss peace and compromise (Israel gave in too many times just to please the world, a world who still hates her more and more) with invading PLO (they are the occupants and could not be happy with that)and hamas and other terrorrists groups. Their end is to see Israel completely pulverised. How do you ever get along with some hypocritical fanatic around a peace table??????? Leave Israel alone, do not tell her how she needs to deal with her politic. She is a grown tiny little Nation and is even now as we speak showing the courage that we , the biggest and powerful nation on the face of the earth lacked, how to destroy people who do not have any decensy or compassion or tolerance or the most basic respect for human life. They are sadistic and deceived and blinded by their hatred.God bless Israel now and forever and the US and whoever stand for Israel.

I am fully supportive of Israel's current actions in Lebanon. I am a non-Jew living in Phoenix, Arizona, and it is abundantly clear to me that the Palestinian leadership does not desire a meaninful peace with Israel. Israel has made countless concessions with no benefit from the other side. Within days or hours, the Palestinian leaders are demanding Israel be completely eliminated.
In my opinion, the only way to deal with the Arab world is through a position of strength. I only wish the US government had the backbone and integrity to address issues as directly as Israel.
My prayer is that Israel will always remain strong and enjoy peace. However, peace will not be acheived through weakness.

With the wider war with Islam beginning to flower, do not think that selling Israel down the drain will bring peace, (as some on the Left are asserting). That's what Neville Chamberlain thought in 1938 when he sold Czechoslavakia down the drain for "Peace in our time".

Has the world had a collective lobotomy? This situation is so obvious, yet the UN leaders and other national leaders seem to miss the whole point. These little bully/coward nations/organizations provoke Israel over and over. Israel shows patience with them beyond the endurance of any civilized nation. Finally they provoke Israel until Israel says, "Enough." Then when Israel retaliates, the little cowards start screaming like a little girl--they want help--they want the UN to protect them--they want the other muslim nations to protect them--they are helpless. Just last week they did this in Gaza. They were hiding their heads, wringing their hands and crying for support. Then when Israel withdrew some tanks from Northern Gaza, they started puffing up their chests and shouting, "We showed them. We made them back off." What nuts!

Lebanon should keep it`s house in order. This is especially when the Hizbollah are now in parliament and allowed to do as they please in southern Lebanon.

Unconditional surrender from by both Hizbolah and Hamas is what Israel should be pursuing, no half way measures. Mop these vermin up while the mopping is good. If Iran involves herself directly then the US my country should annhillate them. We are at a nexus, the terrorists have no rules in how the conduct terror , we should have zero rules in how we destroy them.

This should have been sorted out under Sharon reign. He was to interested in looking after saving himself from deep trouble. He's had his reward. Now there are two people who have no idea. No expeirance. Just looking for themselves. How could this so called PM even mention this week about continuing with his plan. This is disgusting. He should watch himself. He may land up worse then his predessior. I hope Israel pull out quickly and well on top but one thing they shouldn't forget, it is not them that will win, it is the hands of the Almighty and the sooner the acknowledge this the better for them and everyone. This now the times of Moshiach. There is no doubt and we must behave ourselves better then we ever have for this redemption. Shabbat Shalom.
