A few hours ago, One Jerusalem hosted a far ranging
bloggers conference call with the Executive Vice Chairman of the
Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations.
Mr. Hoenlein, a major force in Jewish communal matters for more than three decades, informed bloggers - including Jim Hoff of
Gateway Pundit, Anne Lieberman of
Boker Tov Boulder, Rick Richman of
Jewish Current Issues, Ed Lasky of
The American Thinker, Judith Klinghoffer of the
History News Network, and Jerry Gordon of
Israpundit - of plans to stage a massive rally in Dag Hammarskgold Plaza (47th St. and 2nd Ave) in front of the U.N. on September 20th at 12 noon. So far, 67 Jewish and Christian organizations have signed on as co-sponsors.
The focus of the rally is to protest Iranian President Ahmadinejad who is coming to New York to address the U.N. The rally will also express solidarity with the State of Israel in its fight against terror and its State sponsors, as well as call for the immediate release of the Israeli soldiers that are being held captive by Hamas and Hezbollah.
Mr. Hoenlein presents
informative insights into the current situation including the rise of anti-Semitic acts throughout the world.
