Tens of thousands of people came out to protest Ahmadinejad's warm welcome at the UN and demand the release of the three Israeli soldiers being held hostage by Hezbollah and Hamas.
Atlas and Jerry Gordon at Instapundit have more details on the rally.
An extra special thank you to the thousands of Christians who came from all over the country.
Jim Tisch, former Chairman of the Conference of Presidents blows the shofar:
Ambassador John Bolton:
Nobel Laureate Eli Wiesel:
Mrs. Diana Hagee, the wife of Pastor John Hagee, and Pastor Michael Faulkner. Together with her husband, Mrs. Hagee is the founder of Christians United For Israel, a pro-Israel Christian lobby that brought thousands to the rally.

Emotional Words from Carmit and Malka Goldwasser, the wife and mother of Ehud Goldwasser, one of the two soldiers kidnapped and held hostage by Hezbollah:
At last, an "other than mainstream" news source. Thank you indeed, for a ray of sunshine on a clear but rather cool morning in the South of Wisconsin. jf

This video originated on a Catholic website, and I really feel that it does not help the cause of peace in the world. Iran has asked for dialogue with the U.S. repeatedly and been rebuffed. How does this contribute to negotiations and understanding? What Israel needs is to get along with it's neighbors, all it's neighbors, and refusing to come to the table and talk is not the way to peace for Israel. Iran has not started a war in 300 years, and I doubt that this is their intention now. They want to advance and have nuclear technology and also to feel they can defend themselves since two nations that are nuclear powers (U.S. and Israel) are threatening to attack them. The capture of the Israeli soldiers was a grave violation, but the holding of thousands of Palestinian and Lebanese people in Israeli prisons with no word to their families of their whereabouts or well being is also a grave violation. Bombing and killing innocent Lebanese civilians when the bombs used are laser guided and need not have made so many "mistakes" is also a violation of the humanitarian rules of war. There is fault on both sides. The parties must come to the table, including Syria, Lebanon, Iran and Hamas - otherwise there will be no peace for Israel. War and hostility is not the answer. As a Catholic, I stand for peace.

It was very moving to see Christians and Jews demonstrating in front of that @#^%$ we call the UN where we send billions of tax dollars for nothing. It was disgusting how they let Iran's president into the US.
Anyway, I hope one day in the future to make a pilgrimage to Israel AND that a US president will have the courage to give the UN their eviction papers! I think I've got a better chance with the pilgrimage!

Thank you for recording and disbursing these videos. Shame on the spineless media that is ironically silent and tries to ignore it. The strength and depth of what transpired is significant. The unity is encouraging. Shema! Shalom!

Amazing that I had to come here to hear of a counter demonstration. Where was the media? Probably to busy listening to those that hate America.

I feel more secure that the demonstration held targeting Ahmadinejad, was back by others than Jews.
Ahmadinejad is holding over 20,000 Persian Jews, Iran is their home for millennia. A man, who calls his oppressed victims "great people" in a fashion of dismissive sarcasm, and cynicism has better watch the water he drinks, and the food he eats. The curse of the Jews is upon him. He will be hooking up with Hitler in hell. It may come to pass that the morsel he prefers, will be his last meal. The ram will not come to life and warn him of his impending death.
However, this time he will be hung by his toes, and the spit of his people will drown him, Somebody should make him aware of his destiny, so he may choose to end his life, so he may not suffer the bloody inhumanity, that he intends inflict on the children of Israel.

Thank you, thank you for posting these videos of the anti-Iran rally at the U.N.
I have visited Pastor Hagee's church in San Antonio, TX, and was so glad to see his wife speaking in support of Israel there in New York. I so much enjoyed the Israeli gentleman speaking, also.
God bless Israel. They are fighting terrorism just like we are, and these threats are all around them, even more constantly than we face them.

So, what will it take to get back three Jewish heroes? A Barucha?
Israel should make a big noise at the U.N (Ununited Nations) and to all "it's friends around the world. This has gone on for too long. What's the purpose?
Shalom

I wish these meetings had been more widely publicized. In any event, let everybody support this group for they represent all of us.

It is heartening to see the solidarity between Jews and Christians at these dangerous times in our history.
Shame on the mainstream media for not reporting thses events. May HaShem have mercy on them.
L'Shanah Tovah!
