We are getting reports from participants in the massive rally taking place in Tel Aviv. The rally idea was the brain child of a group of Israeli Reservists who protested the conduct of the military operations in Lebanon. (Listen to a One Jerusalem interview with the Reservists, which One Jerusalem organized in August 2006.)
Today, the protest culminated in over a quarter of a million Israelis of all shapes and sizes gathering in Rabin Square to send a message to their Prime Minister - It is time for him to step down.
A few hours ago we spoke with (Res) General Effi Eitam who since our conversation addressed the rally. Effi talked about the frustrations of the Israeli people in being saddled with an inept and corrupt government. He also pointed out how Foreign Minister Livini blew her chance to be a leader when she called on Olmert to resign but stayed in the government.
Today, in the Knesset, Likud leader Netanyahu expressed the views of most of Israel when he called the Kadima government a failed government. Netanyahu called for new elections.
Olmert, despite his attempts to stay in office, will almost certainly not survive. He and Defense Minister Peretz will almost certainly be forced from office. But the the question of the day is whether the Kadima government stays in power or does all this lead to elections.
Isn't it amazing how the lord G-d of Israel works.Despite the treasonous attempt to give away
parts of eretz Israel to our enemies, only one government has truly put this into real physical action.......Sharon!And look what befell him.It should be a warning to other leaders of Israel, what will happen to them if they betray their people and ethnically cleanse them from land that only belongs to them, historically, spiritually, logically and legally!History will record these so called "peaceniks and their ilk" as traitors and
not as lover's of Israel...That will be their fate.
"Sic Semper Tyrannus"-And thus to traitor's(I hope I got that right)

I will bless those who bless thee, Israel is a winner because they are Gods covenant people but they must turn to The Lord and repent.

Olmert should resign!!!the big rally in Tel Aviv was positive about it! and Jerusalem should (it is about time!!)be declared the capital of Israel!
All Jews and Israelis in the diaspora have been waiting for this for a long time!!We plan to move to Israel(my husband will be a oleh hadash whereas I am an israeli khozeret), our son is already living in a yeshiva in jerusalem and all the rest of my family (aunts, cousins etc,,) is in Israel. It is the only place in the world where jews feel and ARE at home!Am Israel Hai!
