Bibi is the greatest and most articulate of all Israeli leaders. Israel needs more men like him. He never waivers. He never backs down. He always stands tall. Bibi needS to run again and become the next prime minister of Israel. BIBI YOU ALWAYS HAVE MY VOTE!!!

Bibi has always been a wonderful representative of Israel, he is on the ball, and hope that by emailing this clip to everyone people will realise we are not the evil one's and want peace, but we do not have to give any part of our land to anyone, it is ours and ours alone. Bibi should be the prime minister

Bibi should be the next prime minister of Israel. He is perceived by the Arabs (and the rest of the world) as a "hard-liner". Just as Nixon, who was an ardent anti-communist, was able to bring raproachment with China and the US and Reagan, who also was perceived as a "hard-liner" secured the release of the Iranian hostages, Bibi will be able to effect a peace agreement with the Arabs. ARABS RESPECT AND FEAR STRENGTH. When they sense weakness and equivication the feel emboldened. That's also why we cannot abandon Iraq.

I have always had respect for bibi he may have been very raw first time round but he is the leader Israel needs now and the future. His speech against the boycott of these so-called academics in Britain that are pure anti-semitic, weak people scared stiff of their future rulers the Moslems living in Britain.Shame on you all not worth two bob any one of you.Go crawl under a rock and stay there forever.

I agree. Let good people unite and fight the news corporation who showed falsyfied pictures from Lebenon. Make them responsable for every-thing they write. How can we trust them if they can get away with it Sandor at June 24, 2007

1. I find it questionable, at least, for a "Union" to make such a statement. People are forced to join the union, if they want that job. You can not quit your union, if the union does something you do not believe in. 2. I believe strongly, that violence - what ever shape or form it has; and a boycott is a form of violence - is producing counter-violence. The only way to end violence, I think, is by stoping to be violent. To not use the other person's violence as excuse for my own. Only education, understanding, and realizing that we are all the same people in the same boat (a boat called called "Earth") can permanently and completely eliminate violence. Understanding this, I try to refuse to react "naturally" (answering violence with violence), insted I try to act "humanly" (seeking dialog, understanding, tolerance, and forgiveness). I very much agree with Mr. Netanyaho - every person has to stand up against evil, injustice, and ignorance. I know counter-violence is not the a solution, but a contribution to the problem. Trying to help increase understanding is much more effective in the long run, but also much, much harder! Mahatma Gandhi once said: "Let us become the change we would like to see in this world." Let us contribute to a pieceful world by stopping the violence by not reacting violently...

Boycott of blacks, boycott of Jews, boycott of germans, boycott of nonfiedel by Islamists, and now proposed boycotts of Israeli by British Unionists, the "progresive" communities of the Kingdom. And this is because we are fighting for our welbeing!! I was totally convinced that the British intelectuals will help us to achive peace with our nighbores, that they are enogh liberal to understand not one side only, and this is a side that wishes to destroy not only us!!! One of my most poignient memories of WWII is when I and many other U.S. Troop Carrier pilots dropped thousands of American Airborne troops in Holland with the mission of holding Neimegen and Arnhem bridges 24 to 48 hours. The British Army under Montgomery were supposed to relieve them --but they never showed up. We lost many hundreds of valient troopers and several airplanes, gliders and their crews. The British lost little but their honor and our respect. Now they've lost what little respect was left. From what I understand, the Dutch are not any better. I, personally, have made my last trip to Europe and its short memoried population.

I'm British and quite frankly ashamed that so called British Academics can even think about taking a stance to boycott Israel. These people are supposed to be intelligent. God Bless you Israel and may the hand of God protect you from your evil enemies.

Knowledge and Education are the primary tool to fight Evil. The German ideas, though extremely wrong, are alive and well. We fight them in America by educating our children as to why they don't make sense. A fire cannot burn without air. A murdering terrorist should be eliminated but his children have to be taught why or the cycle continues and grows. Just eliminating terrorist and a taking defensive stand isn't enough. I'm glad leaders like you are talking to try and open the eyes of the world.

Netanyahu couldn't have articulated the similarities between what is happening in Britain now compared to what happened in World War II. It's a shame that academics didn't learn anything from history.

Boycot the Brits, and tell them why. Simple. We can live very comfortably without seeing London and eating fish'n chips. And lets not sell them anything that was invented by us the Jewish or Israelis. Let them rot in their own stupid colonial filth. And when London is completing its transformation into Londonistan, lets not rescue them like we did when the Nazis knocked on their door.

I feel ashamed of the British - their attitude has been so anti Israel I think this is pure anti semitism - Netanyahu is so right in what he has said.

Our cheeks are battered and beaten from turning from one side to the other. It's time we show what's in our fists to let the adversaries know what is available to those who will continue to hurl rockets into Israel. It's time we show just how bloody the hand extended in peace is.

Britain and the world wake up and listen. Bibi knows what he is talking about and history will prove him right. I was thinking that perhaps these academics should send job applications to the Imams for positions at their mosques. Oh, excuse me, you will have to accept Islam first and then go on to hand Britain over to the Muslims/Arabs/Palestinians etc. This is what they want in the end anyway, Israel first and the world will follow.

It just had being necessary one attack from the Islamic terrorist to the Twin Towers in New York and the rest of the world condemn and support the counterattack from the American Army to Afghanistan and Iraq, what if the US or London is attack everyday as Israel is. Could be justified for the rest of the world the counterattack, or will be also criticized as Israel is do just to protect the right of the Israelis to live in PEACE?

What is happening in the UK is the same that worked in Nazi Germany. Some intelectuals rationalized the killing of the Jews who gave Germany its best thinkers. This is what the UK unionists are now attempting. never again.

While I have no time for the anti-semitic slurs of British lefty academics - I know what they are like; I grew up there - and while there is a lot to be said for Netanyahu's arguments, he does not address the central issue, which has to do with the cruel fate of Palestinians living under occupation. That is the issue that brought about the ill-advised boycott by British academics and that is the issue that needs to be addressed and resolved.

Israel has indeed responded with less force than Britain in WWII. Israel is also the constant recipient of BBC (and for that matter, most European news media) bias. How about Israel not exercise the restraint it has shown and retaliate with a justified response, destroying every one of those extreme, lunatic terrorists. War is war, unfortunately so. Never mind the criticism. Let's see her defend herself and put an end to the threats at her doorstep. To hell with those who boycott, complain, lie and twist the truth!

The English Acadamia must have fallen asleep when the terrorism hit them at home so very recently. The on going trials must have been An Israeli conspiracy. There should be a demand for Bibi to represent the Israeli version to not only the World at large but also to the entire U.N. delegation.

Mr. Netanyahu was not the best prime minister there ever was in Israel, but he definitely was one of the best foreign ministers. If the present, very mediocre prime minister, Mr. Olmert were to do one brilliant thing, he would follow Mr. Begin's example (he called on Moshe Dayan, a member of the opposing party, to accept the foreign ministry) and persuade Mr. Netanyahu to become foreign minister. In that way the cause of Israel would be clearly explained to the world...

BRAVO!!!!!! It needed to be said. That British academicians find it necessary to boycot Israeli academicians is rediculous. Intelliigence is one of Israels greatest assets. Here in the Netherlands people are oh so prone to supporting the Palestinian cause no matter what. They refuse to admonish Palestinian terrorism and are always ready to put the blame in Israels lap. Israel has shared enormous amounts of know how in all fields with the rest of the world. What, in fact, have the Palestinians shared? Zilch...oh wait a minute, I forgot....they shared Yassar Arafat and his methods of terrorism. It's time the world woke up!

Academia is predictable. They have made themselves into, as one observer put it more appropriately, 'Cacademia'. Darwin's theory actually only works in reverse: Western Cacademia has 'grown' to the point where it is represented by intellectual chimpanzees, no matter what they are focusing on. It is here noteworthy that Darwinism = Humanism = Moral Freeforallism in devising a way to manage human affairs. Having dismissed the Jewish G-d, they naturally now feel free to dismiss His own people and His own seat on Earth - or rather, a compunction to do it, because anything or anyone who may represent G-d is, to them, the greatest obstacle to 'progress'. And in their dismissals, "thinking themselves wise, they became fools".

Thank G-d there are still sane voices like BiBi who are speaking out. Listen to the man! He 'gets it' I have been writing this in my columns for years.. it's not an Israeli problem! We are in a world war with an enemy that wants anyone who isn't them... D*E*A*D*.. we are in a war with a Nazi mentality... and they can't be hugged, or negotiated with.. they must be destroyed. What they have done with this British Academic boycott will come back to haunt them...

I think That Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told it they way it was, and how it is today. Israel must stop this slaughter once and for all. If therr are casualties what are the Israeli Citizen Chicken soup? If one country in the time of war needed to defend itself, their was no other country than England that was fighting for its life. Well Israel has been doing it for 59 Years and has given much land and concession to the Palestinians and all that they have been getting is more rockets. Enough is enough now is the time to make the bully uinderstand that When I turn my other cheek and he wants to hit it again,Is is time to give what is in other hand he must get the beating of his life and he has lost the right to remain in the land that he wantd to destroy. Any country want to open their doors for them We will provide the transportation in the The 40/8 . The same ones that the Germans used to transport the Jews.Only this time we will give them food and water.

Fight back against this blatant attack on Israel. The Boycott - is counter to the universal principle of academic freedom - is a form of prejudice & discrimination; it unfairly singles out Israel - is counter-productive to peace & reconciliation - stifles scientific advancement, which depends on international interaction Join thousands in signing our petition: http://www.petitiononline.com/stopucu/petition.html

The British Academic Boycott is a prime indicator of the prejudicial and simple-mindedness of this pathetic lot. Netanyahu encapsulates the two-faced, viewpoint of the self-anointed intelligentsia. WOW!

Wow! This is what it likes to have a leader who fights back against the crazies of the left.

Through the decades, the Arab Muslims have become masters of deception. From the beginning they swore to kill every Israeli, pushing them into the sea. They have never changed that goal. They have only convinced those on the left that it is the Israelis, who wish only to live in their country in peace, who are the villains. They have sold this lie to much of the world, and thank you Mr. Netanyahu for speaking the truth. British Academians, time to go back to school and get smart.

"...supine attitude in the face of evil"... go, B.B.! UCU's boycott is the last straw. I'm burning all my Beatles records. Oh, boofrigginhooey. In the mystical cycle of boycotts and retaliation you have to make the difficult choices, the ones that may hurt you more than them. Besides, when I think of England as far as intelligentsia and academia go - and believe me, the tenured professors' sanity and precious Euros have gone out the palace window, straight to the beasts - The Beatles are the only thing that comes to mind. Then Genesis. In any case, my Peter Gabriel-era records are long gone and far outdated, just like Britian's increasingly Islamofascist society. You gotta hit 'em where it hurts. But it's over and done with Hellen Mirren. You think it's gonna be easy for me to burn my Radiohead records? Do you think I'm thrilled to cut the proliferation of Old World Americana out of my diet? It's fire with fire my friend. Suck it up. The question is, now, does this so-called "UCU of Britain" represent just England or does it also include the "Occupied Territories" of England including, but not limited to: Scotland, Wales, Sheffield, N. and S. Ireland... Because it'd be great to not have to burn my only U2 album, "October"! Oi vey, here's yet another petition to clean up the mire and mess of yet another anti-Semitic resolution: http://www.petitiononline.com/stopucu/petition.html Anti-Semitic policies further instigating sentimental affiliations with a confected, romanticized Palestinian nationalism

United Jerusalem Petition
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, to ensure free and open access for all people.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, as an expression of the unique relationship between the Jewish People and its eternal capital.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, so as never to return to the dark period of 1947-67, when Arab control over an artificially divided Jerusalem meant religious persecution, desecration of holy sites, and wanton destruction.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, according to the current municipal boundaries, set in the wake of Israel’s defensive 1967 Six Day War.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, where Jews may enjoy the right to pray on the Temple Mount, the holiest site in the Jewish world.
Preserve The Temple Mount
  • For a decade, Muslim religious authorities have participated in the destruction and elimination of precious Jewish and Christian artifacts on the site of Solomon's Temple, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
  • Thousands of tons of earth, containing archaeological evidence dating back to the period of the Temple of Solomon, were discarded. Among the 'rubble' were ancient seals from a Priestly family, inscribed pottery fragments in Ancient Hebrew, Altar screens and broken columns from a fourth century Byzantine Church.
  • Since the year 2000, the Muslim religious authority – the Waqf - has blocked all archaeological oversight of the Temple Mount.
  • Meanwhile, the Waqf continues to construct Mosques on the sacred sites of Jews and Christians.
  • We believe the international and Israeli media should have unrestricted access to the Temple Mount.
  • We believe the world-respected Israeli Antiquities Authority be empowered to supervise the day to day activities on the Temple Mount.
  • Currently, the Waqf forbids any non-Muslim entrance, except on a selective and very limited basis. For instance, the Waqf does not give any observers access inside the vast subterranean rooms, from which many antiquities have been removed.
  • We demand the preservation and respect of the Temple Mount. Only full access and complete transparency for all parts of the Temple Mount can prevent further abuse and destruction of this site which has been venerated throughout history.
