You can not quit your union, if the union does something you do not believe in. 2. One of my most poignient memories of WWII is when I and many other U.S. Troop Carrier pilots dropped thousands of American Airborne troops in Holland with the mission of holding Neimegen and Arnhem bridges 24 to 48 hours. The British Army under Montgomery were supposed to relieve them --but they never showed up. We lost many hundreds of valient troopers and several airplanes, gliders and their crews. The British lost little but their honor and our respect. Now they've lost what little respect was left. From what I understand, the Dutch are not any better. I, personally, have made my last trip to Europe and its short memoried population.
