Huge Increase In Arabs Seeking Israeli Citizenship
[11.08.2007]
Israel's Prime Minister Olmert and some of his cabinet ministers, most notably Avigdor Lieberman, have suggested a willingness to give up so-called "Arab neighborhoods" in Jerusalem. They argue this is a way of ridding Israel of some Arabs.
This populist argument flys in the face of reality.
On average in Jerusalem 300 Arabs a year seek Israeli citizenship. In the four months since talk of dividing Jerusalem has increased that number has exploded to over 3,000.
These numbers indicate that creating a Palestinian capital out of Arab neighborhoods will result in a flood of Arabs seeking Israeli citizenship and choosing to live in Jewish neighborhoods.
Why should they give up the security and the economic benefits of living in Israel?
Olmert should ask for Gaza back.No peace-no land and ask Bush if he would give Texas to the Taliban for peace.

Why in the world would Israel want to be so generous that they themselves create a fith colunm within Israel? What do you, my friends, think will happen, that you will see the arabs hugging you?? They will betray, kill, threaten, and hate you, just like until now. How do you separate the goats from the sheep if they are in the same flock?? Haven't you seen that good will will do NOTHING??

It is amazing how those "horrible" Jews are sought and courted when the Arabs own people stick them in the ear. And then have the nerve to to seriously harm their their benefactors. As a benefactor it is permissable to to make intelligent choices in one's generosity. Can we hear an AMEN on that???

One way to take over a country is to overwhelm it with one

This is a clear evidence that the Arab state of Palestine is not a wish for all Arabs. The clear-thinking Arabs know for shure what the future will bring seeing a division of Jerusalem and a two-state solution.

I have often wondered - what if, as part of any "peace agreement", all palestian arabs (not including Druze and others serving in IDF) living in Israel - post 1948(since 1948 thru the present, Israel has been in a state of war which prevents any permanent status), citizens or not citizens, their citizenship would revert to the new Arab Palestian State in the interests of separate Arab and Jewish States. This does not mean that they must be transferred, they could maintain their residence and jobs wherever they are, they just would not be eligible to vote for anything in the State of Israel. In a case such as this, they would only be eligible for voting in the Palestian State. This might solve a lot of situations regarding land swap and population concerns

Interesting scenario, when the Palestinians approach, and other Arabs run. When the Palestinians approach under the sponsorship of Olmert or Rice, the other Arabs not only run, but seek the protection of Israelis. Any way one looks at it, the political are promoting the predators.
