I am absolutely opposed to any "give away" of any part in Jerusalem and its suburbs

It is understandable that many Israelis yearn for peace, but at what price? It is an illusion to believe that concession of land for peace will succeed. One must only look at Gaza to see how fruitless this approach is. However , for strategic reasons it may be advantageous to give select territories to the " Palestinians", but never Jerusalem., which is Israel's biblical home for 3000 years. The Iranian government and Al Quida would like nothing better to advance their goal os destroying Israel

After all this time, haven't we learned that land for peace is an illusion? It has never worked.

There is NO QUESTION that Jerusalem must always be the undivided capital of the Jewsih State of Israel. ONLY since the Jews have returned has there been a thriving openness of all sites to our Christian friends. Even muslim sites have been open and protected (even including the foolish example where the muslims control (and regularly defile/excavate/obliterate) the Holy Temple Mount)
Undivided Jerusalem is a given, BUT let us NOT FORGEt that ALL OF ISRAEL must never be divided -- including ALL of Golan, Judea, Samaria and Gaza.

I live in American and I am a Christian.
Israel was given to His Chosen people the Jew and none other. Those who bless Israel will be blessed those who curse Israel shall be cursed.
Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem not its division.
Go back to the teachings of the prophets Mr. Olmert you are about and cling to the promise and concern yourself with pleasing the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob not man.
And do not listen to any American Politician who advises giving away one inch of Israel or Jerusalem. We are in a literal fight here for our Judeo-Christian heritage with these
the same politicians twho want to compromise with evil, hey are delude.d
God Bless Israel and His promises are faithful to His People

I have always been taught that the Jewish people are G-d's chosen, and I uphold Jerusalem being undivided. The scripture says G-d will bless those that bless Israel and will curse those who do not. Amen. Judy

Jerusalem is the lifeblood of the Jewish people. It is a deception to think otherwise.

Olmert should leave Israel and live with his friends the evil Arabs. Why in the Holy Name of G-d do the people of Israel tolerate him, maybe he can take the Palestinians with him. He got in office through default didn't he? Surrender is never an option, but Olmert would Love for it to happen; Olmert would even let us really win the war with Lebanon. Olmert in my opinion is extremely weak minded and only concerned with his personal agenda, you know money. You know what’s wrong with the world people spend all their time trying to sound non offensive, just say Olmert isn’t doing his job and if he worked with us he would be fired. Golda would have had him shot for treason. You will never get any where with people like Olmert Speaking for Israel.
Thank you

This being close to Honukkah, I was reading Maccabees this Sabbath. I suddenly realized that we need to make a stand as did Mattathias in that day. We need to regain our Faith - once delivered to us by our Heavenly Father- and make a stand against giving away Jerusalem. This can not be allowed to happen. He (Adonai) claimed it to be the Capital of Israel. The Israelites must remain in control of Jerusalem if for no other reason, to preserve the name of Adonai.

Mr. Olmert should be ashamed of himself.

How can one negotiate with history, with spirituality, with the core of one's very existence? This is an intact Yerushalayim. This is an indivisible Jerusalem. It is the epicenter of the light unto the nations, the very place of the Holy of Holies watched over by the Shekhinah. Never may it be relinquished: it must always be in Jewish hands; so promised the G-d of Israel.
