In an interview before President Bush's trip to Israel, Prime Minister Olmert stated that Israel must come to terms with dividing Jerusalem and giving up more land in Judea and Samaria.
Olmert's defeatist attitude is the clearest indication that he envisions Israel continuing the process of giving up precious land even though this tactic has only succeeded in bringing Israel's enemies closer to Israel's heartland.
Olmert's mindset is defeatist and will further endanger the people of Israel. Read a Jerusalem Post report here.
We must step up our pressure on Olmert and Bush during this dangerous time.
I may be nuts, but I have to believe that there's some under-the-table hankie-pankie going on. How could the present gov't, for a moment, think of compromising Jerusalem? They would have to be TOTALLY out of their minds....I mean truly, clinically, out of touch with reality. There's gotta be something none of us outside the inner sanctum know. Care to speculate?

This peace plan would have no teeth if the US government and the President did not back it. I wonder how Mr. Bush who claims to be a Christian can support such an awful, evil treaty like this one. Please somebody stop this terrible decision to divide Jerusalem. If not the vengeance of the Holy One will judge the evil people who are backing this peace plan.

Dan 5:28 PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.
Indeed.

With each passing day, it appears that the U.S., primarily driven by the U.S. State Department's Dr. Rice, and her apparent client, GW Bush, are geared up to make Israeli Jews pay with life, liberty and property for the problems that many non-Jews, directly or indirectly caused the West, as a result of years of excessive and destructive coddling of IslamoNazis and the Arab world.
This should not be a surprise, given that the U.S. failed to do much, initially, while Jews went up in smoke in Hitler's camps; apparently this coddling of Adolf and others was as negligent and self-serving then as it is today.
What is nearly as distressing is that an apparent leftist driven Olmert and team, wittingly or unwittingly, seem to have awakened the spirit of the many Judenrat and Kapo "jews" who served up their fellow Jews to the Nazis for one or more Nazis bonus points.
Once again, the blackest days of Jewish history seems to have reawakened. Many Jews have become all too willing to be accepted/assimilated (if there could be such a deal) by the non-Jewish world, even it could cost them dearly in life, liberty and property. It should be underscored that many non-Jews throughout history made Jews pay with life, liberty and property for the non-Jews’ political ambitions and failures, and this was often accomplished with the support of some Jews.
We can only hope that there will be quick awakening amongst more Jews (especially in Israel) and the righteous non-Jews, to create a strong and furious movement to put an end to the apparent nefarious plans that many non-Jews created and allowed to snowball towards the sacrifice of the Jewish homeland, Israel, to Allah.
A very good beginning would be to make sure that Israel and the interests of her people will not be slighted in any way to appease the Arab world and the political elite in the U.S., especially in the U.S. State Department, and others around the world.
The "Angel of Death", the CON Rice, and her intellectually and morally twisted notions of likening the "palestinians" to the black victims of slavery, must be taken to task vigorously for her bias, so that more Israelis do not die as a result of the concessions she extracts from Olmert. Olmert must be removed from power very quickly.

Olmert is doing the devil's work by trying to divide Jerusalem...God will not stand for it..It is His city and not to be divided...It should be Israel's Capitol City...Halleluiah...Amen!!!

A man like Olmert, who is completely secular, all of a sudden, can see the hand of G-d at Work? That's a laugh. If he knew anything at all about G-d,he'd know that dividing Jerusalem, and everything else he's doing has ben against what he should be doing. He is a danger to Israel, and needs to start thinking of his people, and stop being a puppet.

May Hashem Have complete Rachamim on Klal Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael in ruchneas and goshmeas.
I organized the rally outside the last Camp David Accord with President Clinton and the other players.
Rabbi Weinreb of the OU in New York was then in Baltimore.
I went to Thurmont Maryland with 275 people on short notice on the last Sunday they were meeting.
Al the international media was there.
We went there to beg Hashem to change the ruchneas so the gosmeas would change.
We davened Minchah with the Barakniks.
The men and children sang we said tehillim My 13 year old son blew shofar filmed by the media I spoke and a visiting Rabbi from Jerusalem and I spoke.
Hashem heard us then as well as the sound of the Klal all over the world. Jerusalem is not for human decisions. May we only see revealed good for Jerusalem in all our days and may we all greet the Redemption speedily in peace.

I regret that I made two important errors in my comment: I spelled Herb Keinon's name incorrectly, and I referred to Kind David as the King of Judah, instead of The King of the united Judea (Yehuda) and Samaria (Shomron).

Olmert is deluded; this is quite real in many respects as in his "Twisting" of his "hand of God" as wanting a divided Jerusalem...He began with being "tired of fighting, tired of winning," now he is just plain sore ecstatic with "I'm exhilarated with losing," "I'm overjoyed with the immolation of the Nation of Israel!" Olmert is a menace to the wellfare and the well-being--and to the very existence--of the State of Israel. His self-aggrandized, grandiose and egotistical life-style presents a genuine threat to the very Existence of the State of Israel. His madness continues. Without boundary restructuring, he could very well leave Israel decimated; it may occur slowly, but once the maddened frenzy begins, it appears relentless, as in his actions to date. He is a danger to Israeli society and needs to step down. Legislation must be created and enacted that would block--and Stop!--him from any other gambits by which he could effect his Insanity. The Knesset has recently sought to create an 80-vote ruling necessary for any changes regarding Jerusalem. This law must be put into effect. His frenzy must be stopped. Any other efforts to this effect are a necessity now, including protests or the presence of a new leader who would stop this mockery of Israel! Esrot HaShem, that G-d will guide the way. "Anochi HaShem Elokecha!" B"H!

After davening the Shabbat before last, a fellow said to me, "You can't have any influence on what will happen in Israel. None of us can." I didn't believe what I heard, yet I didn't say anything. Since then the probable future prime minister of Pakistan was assassinated and two young Israeli men were murdered. Who could believe that? For sure, one never knows what the future will hold. For sure we have only a limited ability to control what happens to us, what happens around us, and what may happen in the world at large. So, do we just shrug our shoulds and accept the cliche "Que sera sera"? I, for one, have never done that...have never been there. The day I do accept what will be will be should be my last day in this world. Even so, I realize that I may not have any control over the timing of my last day. And yet, I cannot and will not stay quiet. Not when the future of Israel and more than half of my people is at stake. This is very emotional for me as a caring, practicing, Jew; as an Israeli citizen; as someone who has taught about Israel and the Holocaust for more than thirty years. How blind can the leaders of my Israel be to just accept what the world community has to say about the future of Israel? Don't they have any sense of Jewish history? Israel is still in its infancy, and the prime minister is discussing the partition of its capital as though such an eventuality will be serendipitous for Israel. He is also suggesting that giving up a large part, if not most, of the land Israel conquered in Judea and Samaria during the Six-Day War, is his for the giving! He states that Israel can only remain in existence as a Jewish state if it sheds the excess land that it "occupied" in '67. Since Mr. Olmert was not elected by the Israeli people and he inherited the prime ministership due to Ariel Sharon's physical incapacity, why isn't he put to the test in consequence of the Israeli public's now having to deal with such palaver as emerged from his mouth during his interview with The Jerusalem Post's David Horovitz and Herb Kleiman? Why won't the Israel populace demand a referendum to determine whether he should stay in his post in the Israeli government? Why should a democracy have to put up with a prime minister who doesn't speak for the majority of the people? Someone sent me an email recently telling me that there aren't any referendums in Israel. Hum-bug. Now should be the very first time. There is a first time for everything. This is the time to truly test Israel's democratic viability. This is the time to show the people living in Israel that they have a backbone, and they will not let their prime minister sell their country down the river. Now is the time to speak to the leaders of the world as the nation representing the Jewish people, the Jewish destiny, the Jewish hope in the Jewish G-d-bequeathed Land of Israel and stand up for the light which Jerusalem must emit to the world in order for the world to finally evolve into the period of redemption. Only Israel can bring about this new era: no other country will ever be able to do so. G-d made His covenant with the Jewish people; this covenant must be maintained and forged in the capital of Israel, in King David's capital! No Israeli prime minister has the right to capitulate a centimeter of Jerusalem to anyone--not the Palestinians, the Jordanians, the Syrians, the Lebanese! Mr. Olmert, please think out of that black box that you have gotten yourself enclosed in and listen to the heart and soul of the Jewish people, not to Mahmoud Abbas, Hosni Mubarak, King Abdullah, or President Bush. There is only one capital of Israel: it is non-negotiable. It was bought and conquered by the King of Judah! The Land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people! Have you forgotten the Holocaust and the hopes and dreams of the six million and the hopes and dreams of the survivors and their children and their children's children? Have you forgotten the hopes and dreams of the Jewish people for the two thousand years before 1948? Are you willing to walk away from Israel as if it is merely another piece of land in this world? Don't you understand that dividing Jerusalem will put the entire West Jerusalem in peril? You are a descendant of Jacob, our forefather. For G-d's sake, act like it! Care for the Land of Israel! Act like you were voted into your position as the Prime Minister of Israel, the land and the people G-d bequeathed this holy land to maintain!
