While Israel's politicians are busy making their political calculations, citizens in Sderot are still suffering. Watch this video of an American born resident of Sderot discussing the plight of the city's citizens.
Twenty days since last posting and all that's happened is a massive intensification of Qassam and Katyusha bombardments by Hamas still against Sderot (a forgotten and surrendered part of Israel--at least by Olmert) and now on to Ashkelon, home to 120,000 Jews, and if the people don't count to Olmert--which is likely so--then home to major energy and refinery sources used throughout Israel. Barak whimpers and does nothing--no more expected. Olmert will never do anything until a Qassam falls through the roof of his own home. And if the IDF goes in (to Gaza), and if they conquer it (assuming a total victory and not just a useless partial assault), will they then just give it back to Hamas (we must care about our beleaguered poor little Palestinian allies, don't we?) or hand it over to the arch-terrorist Abbas and his murderous thugs, the PA, Fatah, Al-Aqsa and Hamas, too, as the PA has already stated that when it comes to Israel, we--Fatah (PA) and Hamas--are as one; or will there be the one and only real solution: complete and total victory and annexation of all of Gaza back to Israel and have it flourishing once again with hundreds of Gush Katifs as Likud Candidate for Prime Minister (soon) Moshe Feiglin has already made clear and with which I fully concur? B"H!

Sad situation in Sderot. My heart goes out to them.
Don't forget, though, that mot residents of Sderot and Yad Mordechai agreed to kicking Jews out of their homes in Aza.
Most American '(so-called) Jewish' organzations also agreed.
Let these organization's leaders and followers pay expenses. Learn the hard way.
Signed: A Lubavitcher.
Measure for measure.

This is why Israel must have elections and vote in a new government with a conscience--Sderot and surrounding communities have become the walking wounded emotionally and psychologically. How can any reasonable, competent, moral, democratic government allow its citizens to live in such peril. I find this predicament distressing beyond words. Thank HaShem that Chabad is there to help the people with food and morale. I respect those who continue to live there, for they are true heroes. Shame on the Israeli government to allow this horrible bombing to continue day in and day out. Shame on Israeli citizenry for remaining silent when their brothers and sisters are living in such an untenable situation. Where is there Jewish caring for one's brother and sister? Where is there loving of one neighbor? Israel is a tiny country. Everyone should be responsible for his or her fellow Jew and citizen.

We, here in the US, wonder how long the
people of Israel will tolerate Olmert.. He is a
deterent, to some degree, in general support
of Israel. Many of us make sure our support goes to people and organizations that are not
vulnerable to Ohlmert's touch. Maybe Israel
will have to be flat on its back before it wakes
up and returns to trusting HaShem instead of any foolish government.
