As Barak Obama is consumed with trying (and in our estimation failing) to answer the question of why he could faithfully attended a church which preached hatred of America, John McCain visited Israel and made news by what he said and did not do.
One journalist, who believes that Israel actually ha someone to negotiate a peace deal with, criticized McCain for failing to meet with the "moderate" Abbas.
The Arab press has forcefully denounced McCain for emphatically stating that Jerusalem is the capital of the Jewish people. While we wish McCain had gone further and declared that Jerusalem should not be divided -- his statement caused Arabs to brand him a Zionist agent.
But perhaps more importantly McCain used his visit to go to the besieged town of Sderot. McCain helped focus international attention on the plight of these innocent Israelis who are under constant attack by Israel's enemies.
While McCain is on the firing line for defending Israel, Obama is failing to distract people away from the fact that he spent most of his adulthood looking to an anti-American racist for spiritual guidance.
At this point in the political election year, McCain is at least 'saying' he supports Israel and refused a meeting with Abbas (who is no peace partner, but a charlatan.) Time will tell if McCain is politicking or sincere in his support for Israel. In the meantime, we as believers in Yeshua are exhorted to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and stand with Israel to the very end!

Hillary is a liar (pardon me, "factually challenged"), just like her husband, and Obama follows the same vein by his pathetic speech which was no more than a stealth justification of (Ir-)reverend Wright. He IS also scary. The only bright spot is that many Americans also recognized that and reflect it in the polls...but remember...he is Hollywood's darling. Expect a blitz of slick TV and movie spots glorifying the man.

I am not a Jew, I am a Christian. But I support the Nation of Israel. No divided Jerusalem. We pray for peace in Jerusalem and peace for the Jewish people. I do not believe any democrats will support Israel in anyway unless it will further the political purposes. I support John McCain and encourage you to do the same. I do not like everything about him but I believe that he has backbone and willing to make decisions not just political profit. We will have to wait and see how He does if he is elected.

People say Obama is eloquent. I say he is glib. There is a difference. I have heard pitchmen with this kind of "eloquence."

McCain is Pro-Israel! Obama and Clinton are NOT!

My family and I immigrated to the United States from Canada and settled in Florida in 1996. In order to establish roots and connect with our new community and society we joined a Reform Jewish Temple in Boca Raton, where we had bought a home. There were many instances that we did not agree with the ideology of the majority of the congregation as it was more liberal than we were, but we enjoyed many other things about the Temple. We chose to enjoy the good and to ignore and discard that which we didn't like. After all, nothing is perfect.
In March 2006, Hamas won an election in newly-unoccupied Gaza, shocking much of the world. Hamas is an Iran-backed Shia Muslim terror organization whose charter calls for the destruction of Israel. Meanwhile in America, 387 Rabbis signed a petition urging President Bush to not discontinue foreign aid funding to Hamas in order to facilitate "dialogue". Two of the four Rabbis at our Temple were signatories to that petition. In my view, any money sent to Hamas would be used for weapons or for suicide bombers to attack Israel and kill innocent Israelis. Simply put, these Rabbis were advocating for America to fund the murder of Jews. I found this to be if not repugnant, mortally naive. This Temple stood for something that was diametrically opposed to those things we believed in. We resigned our membership. We left.
Senator Barrack Obama was in a situation not dissimilar to my own. He was (still is) a member of a church where the Pastor has delivered many sermons which were extremist, incendiary, treasonous, bigoted and racist. The Reverend Jeremiah Wright sermonized that "white America" invented the AIDS virus to kill blacks; He claims America deserved 9/11, that it was just "the chickens coming home to roost", perhaps because America supported Israel, the evil terrorizer of the Palestinians. Rev. Wright has made many other vile statements that we have all heard by now. Rev. Wright admired and honored the anti-Semite racist Louis Farakkahn with a church award. It is absolutely impossible that Senator Obama did not know what the Rev. Jeremiah Wright stood for, having been a member of that church for TWENTY YEARS! Obama knew of the lunatic ranting, he likely heard it, and he stayed at Trinity United Church regardless. Is it illogical to infer that Senator Obama stood for the same things (until we all found out)?
Senator Obama recently delivered an eloquent speech telling us about racism from many different angles. This was pure excuse-making, equivocation and spin. Nowhere did he condemn Rev. Wright for black supremacist racism. Nowhere did Obama apologize to Americans for being part of this. Nowhere did he say that he should have left Trinity United Church. He said he could no more disown Rev. Wright than he could his racist white grandmother. That is a lie. We cannot choose our grandparents but we can choose our synagogues, our churches, our spiritual leaders. And besides, Obama's grandmother did not deliver fiery rants from a pulpit before frenzied crowds like Jeremiah Wright did. If Senator Obama was a man of moral integrity and had a bit of courage, he could have - and should have - left his congregation just like I left mine.
It is a fair discussion whether Senator Barrack Obama has poor judgment or whether he is simply a liar. In either case, he is absolutely undeserving and totally unfit to be President of ALL Americans.

I am a registered Democrat. My party for many years has been a failure. Too litte suuport of Israel, other than to force it to commit suicide---giving away our G-d given land to people who seek peace ONLY via the elimination of Israel.
John McCain has been VERY clear in his attitude toward all of our enemies. Wipe them out.
I suspect that once McCain is inaugurated (just as was the case on 1/20/81---after the horrendous Jimmy Carter), when he is sworn in, the mad mullah muslims will st up straight, put down their belt bombs, and hide in their rat-holes.
Israel is MUCH TOO IMPORTANT to me, to allow any Clinton or Obama to harm it.
I will be voting for McCain, and hope that my fellow Jews, who love Israel, will do the same.

It is a dicey thing to actually stand up for Israel against world opinion. Even our leaders are afraid. as the leaders go so go the people.

I liked McCain from the beginning. He always has supported Israel and its right to live in peace since his senator days.
As for Obama who was first raised Muslim, then his mom took over and was raised Christian, I ask you People, how can a confused man run a country as powerful as America...huh, huh, no way!

Hopefully those of us who love Israel will get behind McCain. He is likely the only candidate who will be against a divided Jerusalem.

I appreciate the fact that John McCain has made a serious effort to take an open stand on the plight of the residents of Sderot. His declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel is also a very positive assertion. Why he has not openly declared that Jerusalem must remain united somewhat troubles me. Does mean to say that all of Jerusalem--East and West--is the capital of Israel. Or is he leaving out his true view for fear that he will lose the Arab vote in the national election? It is very hard to read politicans. Barack Obama, for instance baffles me. He seems to be such an intelligent orator; conversely, his choice of associates and friends is distressing. Why would a wannabe president associate with a racist, anti-American minister, and even defend the minister's integrity? Hiliary Clinton sounds better and better all the time.

What are the TIES that bind Obama to Rev Wright?
Why does George Soros, the billionaire sponsor of Obama, hate Israel & sponsors terrorist groups?

Israel cannot have a viable "peace partner" until Israel unites behind a peace plan that EXCLUDES giving away our Holy Land. The United States has only 3 options for a president, and none of them are great. In my opinion, McCain is a warrior who won't let go of a war and who would likely expand it; Hillary appears to be an opportunist who is riding on her silver birth spoon, wealth, and connections . Our best bet appears to be Obama who has significant traces of idealism which could be hopeful. Face it - we don't want any candidate to line up in hand-holding harmony with an Israeli Prime Minister who wants to create a Palestinian State, no matter how badly the "first step trial balloon" (Gaza) has failed and caused disaster for our people. We need to look to our own House first and see who is best able to tell the Americans to stay out of Israeli affairs - then it will reduce any unfavorable impact of a new American government.

As a fellow Jew I'm telling you that none of the three candidates running have Israel's best interest at heart. They all want to devide up her land and they are all a part of the illumanist agenda for Israel, which isn't what they portray it to be. They are wolfs in sheeps clothing. The only candidate running that Israel should trust is Ron Paul, who most people don't even know he's still in the race because the bought and paid for media ignores him. If you truly want Israel to remain in one peace you will keep your distance from the top three candidates and their secret agendas. I would hate to think that I've been signing all of these petitions on your website in vain.

I cannot believe I'm a Liberal Democrat and will most likely vote for John McCain. Along with his support for Israel, I don't believe we can just leave Iraq which will sooner than later be in the hands of terrorists. Then comes the downfall of the Pakistan and Afghanistan governments, as crude as they are and the building of terrorism by Iran and/or BinLaden. Either way, this gives terrorism NUCLEAR weapons and targets like Israel, India and the USA.
Please understand that I didn't believe the war in Iraq was necessary, but we are there (thanks to Dubya) and we cannot just walk away and make the world crazier than it is now.
I want John McCain to answer that call at 3:00am.

I am a Democrat voting for McCain and I'm also Jewish. Every Jewish person with any kind of integrity and a brain will do the same. Obama is more than just scary and his speech, which has every commentator enthralled, was terrible in that you don't pick your grandmother, but you do pick your pastor. Never, never would I vote for a man who is so off base.

Obama's twenty years under the feet of the Rev. Wright has planted negative seeds of anti-American, anti-Israel hatred. It is evident in his wife's attitude toward America and It is best the American voter learns this lesson and the true nature of this pro-muslem leader before the votes are cast in November.

The cynic in me posits, Senator McCain is seeking American Jewish support and Jewish votes. Much of the Arab American vote is little doubt committed this season to the Democrats especially Senator Obama.
Additionally, as a thirty seven year registered (conservative) Republican, I might find it impossible to vote for a Republican candidate at the national level; this since George W. Bush (whom I voted for in 2000) made the establishment of a Palestinian (terror) state in Israel a formal goal of U.S. policy and Bush had this and the expulsion of Jews from the Holy Land codified in our national party platform, August 2004.
I have written Mr. McCain urging him to remove this anti-Israel / anti-Semitic language from our national party platform at our national party convention this coming August - September. I am not holding my breath however.

McCain's American Soul seems to be One with The Soul of Israel.
Is this not the foundation of authentic brotherhood and friendship ?
We share a common Cause.
