This isn't Mr. Rogers time. There are some people that one shouldn't be friends with. Arafat was one of them. All the good Jimmy Carter did was nullified by this ppraise of this heinous individual.

Jimmy Carter. Well what can be said about an idiot. He is a pure anti-semite no matter how much he preaches for peace. He displays contempt for our country and it's laws by going to meet with a pure terrorist and giving respect to those who have killed our people and citizens. I can't believe some Americans actually think he is worth a dime and is capable of bringing "peace" in the Middle East. Far better and smarter President's haven't been able to achieve that goal. From all the presidents we've ever had, Carter is the most vile of them all. Hope he'll stay in Syria and never makes it back to the U.S.

Jimmy Carter needs to be put in a home, he's lost his mind.

If Carter respects and wants to honor people
such as arafat- -he needs to move to that country so he can see first hand how ignorant
and confused he is. ararfat is responsible for
the deaths of millions of good people. Carter
is a shame and disgrace to our country !!

Grinning Jimmy should honor Arafat as they a were allies. Together they along with Sadat wrested the Sinai Peninsula from Israel in return for nothing.
I used to consider Sadat the greatest con man of all time for taking the Sinai from Israel until Grinning Jimmy's contribution became clearer.
With Grinning Jimmy on his team, Sadat's accomplishment became much easier,
I remember Mike Wallace asking Sadat why he wanted the Sinai. The only reason Sadat could give was, "because it is ours"
Egypt didn't need the Sinai and in fact has done nothing with it. That has nothing to do do with getting something away from those "Damn Jews."
There have been volumes written about Carter downright lies, bias and bigotry, and many more volumes could be written.
Carters visit is a bit more of his coming out of the closet, and possibly may get ome "Peace Now" types to face reality.
The last writer spoke about praying for Peace. If he wants to pray let him, (I'd predict that he doesn't Daven very much so if his desire for peace got him to Schul a few times that would be a plus.")
As was said in WWII, "Praise The Lord and Pass the Amunition.
The miracle required, is to get the Arabs and Muslims, to give up their clearly and frequently expressed desire to kill Jews.
Nothing else will help.

Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama represent the western worlds slow capitulation to Islamic terrorism.
First they imagine they can deal with the devil. Then they actually do.
Laying flowers at the grave of Yassir Arafat is the act of a morally collapsed man who can not distinguish right from wrong, civility from murder, and truth from fiction.....

Absolutely appalling that a former USA president would honor a chief among terrorists. I question many things Jimmy Carter has done and said of late.

Mr. Carter's comportment must be deemed ignoble. He has not only disgraced the role of an United States President as a leader and a role model, but he has also disgraced the highly esteemed honor of Nobel Peace laureate. To meet with Hamas and Fatah terrorists and to lay a wreathe at arch-terrorist for Nobel Peace laureate--an oxymoron if there ever was one on human record--is beyond reproach. His presence in the Middle East may engender terrible unintended consequences to say the least. How disconcerting this visit is to those of us who truly pray for peace in the Middle East.
