Jon is correct on his main points. He mentions Iraq...the entire Iraq/terrorist problem, and the U.S. involvement in the middle east is about Israel. I am another Christian who stands firmly behind the only ally we actually have over there. The Biblical prophesies pinpoint all of todays events, prophesies we have access to...if we read the Bible. Jon was/is exactly right about God blessing those nations that bless Israel and cursing those who don't. It's not the "first verse in Genesis," but it is most definitely there. The United States is a blessed nation for ONE reason and ONE reason only...we are an ally of Israel. We were meant to go to war in the area to help Israel...the day we abandon her, will be the day that God abandons us!!!

 

 

Jon Voight speaks with honesty and sincerity, with out a person agenda, a trait not often found in public figures. I hope that he has the opportunity to speak to a wider audience NOW, when America is in a divided state, preparing for an election that will possibly define what happens for many years to come. His reasoned voice may help persuade some American Jews who would vote for a candidate that would aid our enemies in name of pacification, putting their own as well as other peoples lives in eminent danger. Mr. Voight hit it a home run. It is a tragedy that his words of wisdom, truth, and compassion will probably not get much press or airtime. However, the truth shall indeed set us free! It is just a matter of time. The worldwide movement to establish a global-Caliphatic state is a cancer growing each and every day. It can be seen in Southern Spain, which I know very well, England, and France. These are the seeds of a holocaust in the new millenium. Radical surgery is necessary, and now!

Bravo for Jon. He is so right on everything he says about Israel and Iraq. I pray that more people have the clarity of mind to really see what is going on in these countries and have the courage to speak out. Neither the politicians or the media tell it the way it really is and most people do not understand the complexity of the issues. Let us pray for Jon and others who speak out that they be spiritually protected and that the world will understand their message.

 

 

A breath of fresh air to hear someone in hollywood express unequivocal support for Israel. He simply states the blunt truth that surrendering Gaza was a mistake and that Israel's enemies don't want peace they want to destroy Israel. And its refreshing to hear him call out evil for what it is rather than make excuses and justifications for terrorists targeting Israel or make absurd moral equivalencies between the terrorists and Israeli defensive military measures. And he actually says there is evil in the world, much to the shock of Hollywood I presume, which believes muslims hate us because of things we have done. It would never occur to this crowd that there could actually be something morally wrong with islam. That wouldn't be politically correct or culturally sensitive.

 

 

Finally, someone from Hollyweird who has retained his marbles. I only hope he can persuade left-wing Jews in LA to join his side and protect Israel. God help America stand against evil, and stop appeasing the Hitler of Iran. Get off foreign oil now!

 

 

Bravo John Voight. It is of the utmost importance for the true spirit filled Christian to stand up next to his Jewish brothers and sisters in unity. The UN is what evolved from the League of Nations to keep another holocaust from happening. They are failing miserably. If we are to prevent another slaughter of Jews, we must not only speak out, but ACT, and NOW!

This interview is a delight! I am happy to listen to Jon Voight speak the way he does about Israel and the distressful situation facing Israel and the United States. The fact that he has the courage to come to Israel and speak his mind honestly without pulling any punches says a whole lot about the person he is. I wish that more people in the limelight would speak out about the goodness coming out of Israel. With all of the probelms Israel has to face every day, it is a shot in the arm to listen to passionate, sincere talk about Israel's role in the world--spiritually, strategically, historically, and geographically.
