During the past week, Israel's political pundits were confident that the Knesset would vote to dissolve itself today. In large part their confidence stemmed from the fact that the Labor Party under the leadership of Ehud Barak would support dissolution. Up until today, Barak's actions and words supported the prediction that Labor would support new elections. After all, Barak and other leaders of his Party has condemned Olmert's government because of its corruption and its failure to defend Israel. (The latest lapse being the failure to respond to yesterday's rocket attacks.)
In what has become the norm in Israel, Barak and Kadima have ended up supporting a government that endangers the State of Israel every day it remains in office. Barak, acting like a petty politician who is afraid of losing his office decided to support the government.
The losers in this real-time play are the three soldiers in captivity, the innocents who are under attack in Israel proper, the future of Jerusalem, and the State of Israel.
One Jerusalem came into existence when then Prime Minister Barak offered the terrorist Arafat the heart of Jerusalem. Today he is propping up a Government that is offering up the capital of the Jewish people to the enemies who want to destroy the Jewish nation.
When one looks back at the deaths and sacrifices the Jewish people made to help create the state of Israel, one wonders what they have taught their children now in power. Perhaps there should be a tour of the Holocaust Museum for all adults before they vote for Kedema. Will they make that decision too late to save the state of Israel? Perhaps they should have only two parties and no parliament. That way a small amount of people will not be bribed to help destroy Israel.

The Arabs do not want peace. They will never honor a peace treaty until the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation. Until then they will lie, steal, cheat, bribe, and force there evil intentions on Israel through bogus so called peace treaties. They will use the treaties to become stronger to attack again as soon as they are ready. Give them nothing but what they give. The only thing they understand is force.

I love the Jewish people. I am sad for Israel, just as I am for the U.S. I thought our country had the market on hedonistic, narcissistic politicians. I see we have exported them, but not to worry, we clearly have many still here (too much inbreeding amongst the "blue bloods" I suppose). A comedian said "politics" as in poly (meaning many) and ticks (meaning blood sucking leeches)! How true. The U.S. and Israel better wake up. G-d has given us much....and we can't even squeak out a "thank you". Jerusalem is G-d's and nobody, not even Israel, has the right to give it away and there will literally be hell to pay if it is divided.

What is wrong with the blind people of Israel?
It seems everyone over here can see the dangers, but whoever is running things over
there is like a blind man in a coalmine at midnight with cobras on the floor everywhere.

This present government is by far the worst Israel has ever had. I can't believe that Mr. Olmert and friends are still running the government. Is the entire Israeli population indifferent to their future? Maybe general elections should be instituted in the Diaspora instead of in Israel! Maybe those of us who love and care for Israel, but who live in the Diaspora, can create a government outside of Israel and move in toto to Jerusalem to take over this inane government! Never in the history of the State of Israel has the Labor party displayed such hedonistic, narcissicistic behavior. Wake up and think about the welfare of your countrymen before your neighbors seize your borders!
