I watched Obama's speech in Israel, in front of piled empty shell casings from the daily PLO attacks on Sderot. What that man said was ridiculous. "We should offer Iran carrots and sticks, use diplomacy. We must engage in talks". How stupid!! He is either naive, or engaging in the Muslim tactic of taquiya( did I spell that right?) Lie, say anything to achieve the goal. Iran doesn't want our carrots( aid packages), and they aren't impressed with our sticks( our military) They don't care if they die in battle. That is a quick path to Paradise for them. Israel should not be fooled by this man's pretty words. This is one American gal who is NOT voting for Obama!

I have read the Jerusalem post article and all I can say is that destroying peoples' homes does not pacify them. It does the reverse. I certainly hope the government does not approve this insane move. Put more energy into getting Fatah to change the teaching in schools. Put energy into proving we are not evil usurpers. Destroying homes proves we are evil not only to the moslem world but to the world in general.

Two thousand years we have waited for our G-d given land to be returned to us and it will only last 60 years. We can thank these cowards who are now in control of Israel's coming demise for this plight. The many successes of Israel in the past 60 years have infuriated the Jew-hating nations of this world and now they walk together in lockstep to put the final quietus on this noble experiment. The Islamists are purveyors of death and every happy living human being is an affront to their sensibilities. If olmert and his political cronies don't stop their appeasement of terrorists, the State of Israel will surely die. Death is near and is virtually unavoidable at this late juncture. Farewell great land of my forefathers, farewell.

the time i8s past due to: 1. Stop hiring Arabs to do the jobs that Jews should be doing 2. Expel Arabs from sovereign Israel. Remember that all Arab nations have expelled Jews from their lands When will Jews learn? 3. Cut off all aid to Palestinians unti they stop murdering Jews.--regardless of the attack source.

That made me angry. This is a second suicide attack in Jerusalem in a row which brought by Palestinians who lived in Jerusalem. I think that it is time to move all those who support terrorists out of Jerusalem. The statement which says that most of the arabs in Jerusalem are good and only few of them can do that kind of staff is simply not true: most of the Arabs in Jerusalem supported family of terrorist who killed 8 youth in Merkaza (not sure if spelling correct). Another interesting thing is that terrorist used bulldozer from Caterpillar company. Last year, people from so called human rights watch tried to put embargo from shipping those bulldozers to Israel because they destroyed terrorists houses. But know the same human rights watchers try to protect that terrorist family and says that Israel have no any reasons to deport his family from Israel. P.S. sorry for my English

I have read that this terrorist resided in the same East Jerusalem village as the terrorist who committed the murders at Mercaz HaRav Yeshiva. Someone reacting to this new carnage in The Jerusalem Post reader's comments to the article about this tragedy stated that this terrible incident is a strong reason to divide Jerusalem. I would absolutely disagree. On the contrary, this is the most important reason to keep an undivided, unified Jerusalem. I cannot imagine what the murder toll would be if Hamas and/or Hizbullah had totally free access to East Jerusalem. Every resident of the Holy City would be in jeopardy--Jew, Christian, and Muslim. Terrorists do not necessarily distinguish between people: terrorists act to create fear and confusion.

United Jerusalem Petition
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, to ensure free and open access for all people.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, as an expression of the unique relationship between the Jewish People and its eternal capital.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, so as never to return to the dark period of 1947-67, when Arab control over an artificially divided Jerusalem meant religious persecution, desecration of holy sites, and wanton destruction.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, according to the current municipal boundaries, set in the wake of Israel’s defensive 1967 Six Day War.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, where Jews may enjoy the right to pray on the Temple Mount, the holiest site in the Jewish world.
Preserve The Temple Mount
  • For a decade, Muslim religious authorities have participated in the destruction and elimination of precious Jewish and Christian artifacts on the site of Solomon's Temple, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
  • Thousands of tons of earth, containing archaeological evidence dating back to the period of the Temple of Solomon, were discarded. Among the 'rubble' were ancient seals from a Priestly family, inscribed pottery fragments in Ancient Hebrew, Altar screens and broken columns from a fourth century Byzantine Church.
  • Since the year 2000, the Muslim religious authority – the Waqf - has blocked all archaeological oversight of the Temple Mount.
  • Meanwhile, the Waqf continues to construct Mosques on the sacred sites of Jews and Christians.
  • We believe the international and Israeli media should have unrestricted access to the Temple Mount.
  • We believe the world-respected Israeli Antiquities Authority be empowered to supervise the day to day activities on the Temple Mount.
  • Currently, the Waqf forbids any non-Muslim entrance, except on a selective and very limited basis. For instance, the Waqf does not give any observers access inside the vast subterranean rooms, from which many antiquities have been removed.
  • We demand the preservation and respect of the Temple Mount. Only full access and complete transparency for all parts of the Temple Mount can prevent further abuse and destruction of this site which has been venerated throughout history.
