My visit to Islam Expo at Olympia this weekend offered a valuable insight into the world of political Islam. Though on the surface it was a harmless cultural exhibition, it took only the smallest of glances under the veneer to uncover the real agenda.
This was not a celebration of a worldwide religion, but an attempt to mainstream the most puritanical and politicised form of it. One need only look into the backgrounds of Islam Expo’s directors, a number of whom are known members of the Muslim Brotherhood, to see that this was an event aimed at sanitising the image of this group. One such director is Mohammed Sawalha, who was described on Panorama as a “fugitive Hamas commander”, and was named in the United States as a co-conspirator in a trial of Hamas fundraisers.
The most revealing element of this charade was the ‘debates’ that took place throughout the weekend. The majority of the Muslim speakers were adherents of Wahhabi derived Islamism, and at event that was meant to showcase Islam as a whole, there was a marked absence of Sufis, who make up the majority of this country’s Muslim population, Ahmadis and Barelwis. The non-Muslim panellists were almost all known supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood. They included Alistair Crooke who, in a lecture sponsored by Demos on the inevitability of the west embracing Islamism, claimed that “western values are becoming stale”.

You are right in your comments. I however disagree with you in one factor: They are indermining your country (and mine) already by a much cleverer war, the war of building the fith colunm inside, the rest will come with time. We westerners need to realise that unlike some comments is this blog, they are NOT a political force but a fanatical, man dominated evil religion, based on a lie, who will stop at nothing for allah. If we fail to understand this, we are seriously wrong. Study islam, even if only to discover the past of it, and then get your own conclusions. If we think they are bluffing, that will be another mistake, they are NOT! The only country, so far, that has kept them at bay, has only been Israel, the rest of us, unfortunately, have goverments who worship political correctness, tolerance etc... at the peril of all of us, which of course the muslims have very cleverly exploited in every nation now, and unless we see how masterfully they lie to us, we will continue on a path of destruction. I support Israel, admire Israel, and am happy at their courage. God bless them!

Do not be decieved by speakers who have little knowledge of the average U.S. citizen. The moslem world will be surprised when the next extremist outburst on U.S. citizens happens. Believe me, the people here will rise to the occassion. History has taught us that no nation of people will tolerate evil threats and taunts leveled against citizens who have done nothing to justify attacks against them. We did not ask for 9/11, the moslems did and don't give me that bull@&*! about we deserved it. The vast majority of us, here in the U.S. did'nt even know how to spell Mohammed al whatever or Ossama bin whats his name. Hell man, we did not care about Iran, Iraq, Kuwait or any other moslem nation. We were content with just trying to make a living. All of a sudden we had idiots who desired to have eternal sex with 72 virgins hijaking airplanes and flying them into our buildings and killing innocent civilians. I guess their leaders forgot to tell them about Superman.and his army. What did they think was going to happen? A nation with the strongest army iin the world would just sit around on its ass and say "Oh Well".

Guess what, if you think Iraq and Afghanistan is something, wait untill the next moslem brainfart makes its way to our land. They will not be able to hide behind their women and children like the cowards they are. The next time they tug on Supermans coat and piss him off, allah will appear and say LEAVE THOSE AMERICANS ALONE, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT US OR OUR SILLY BELIEFS AND THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT SUNI'S, SUFIS, AHMADIS OR BARELWIS,...Here's a thought...If the teachers or whatever you call the preachers of their faith , are so inclined to preach a mesage of 72 virgin theology. We have a group of men here in the U.S. called PIMPS, who will save them from dying by providing them with a number greater than 72 who are highly more trained and experienced that will accomodate all of their pent up desires and you don' have to die to get them. All you have to do is ask the rich Moslems who get paid serious money from oil for a small loan and all your pent up frustrations will be easily assuaged. I don't mean to be trite or direspectful but come on, how much more do we here in the U.S. who live our lives daily trying to make ends meet put up with this religious bull#@!&. Somebody really needs to wake up and smell the coffee, tea, hashish or whatever they are drinking and smoking. Our Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines are itching to show the world all of the advanced weaponry they have developed that will make allah real happy as he embraces his young horny men. 72 virgins, come on clerics, you sage men of wisdom and knowledge. Who wants an innocent virgin that knows nothing about pleasing a man. Why not 1 real experienced woman who can make you really happy. besides that, what if these 72 virgins turnout to be really ugly or what if these 72 virgins are really 72 virgin men? After all what is sex to a god who who likes to see young men die for the promise of it.

We are fooling ourselves if we believe that Sufis, etc are moderate. That Sufis supposedly are not violent does not mean they oppose the jihadis. Islam is a fascist movement of conquest dressed up as a religion. It is understandable that opponents to jihadis in Mohammedan lands are intimidated to toe the party line. But the silence in the face of Islamo-terrorism of "peace-loving" citizens in civilised countries is the best measure of their where their sympathies lie.
