I was very surprised and disappointed in Isreal when Kuntar was released. What were they thinking? To the Islamo fascists, this is a sign of weakness. I would want my loved one's remains back too, but that was too high a price to pay, and Israel will be very sorry they did such a dumb thing. An insane man is now free to rejoin his brothers in hate. Again, what were they thinking?

It's a shame that a government has dto give into terrorism. Jewish bodies are holy. These boys sacrificed their lives so that others may live. Now we are giving in and having their bodies returned for murderes who will once again be free to slaughter innocent victims. I don't undrestand how we can give in so easily. I agree with the Haran family, even if it regretfully is painful for the families of the fallen soldiers. I'm sure they do not want blood on their concience because terrorists were freed to exchange for the kedoshim who made heroic sacrifices. Gerry

Had Isreal been in existance in the mid 30's my only first cousins would be alive today.I fear for Isreal if Ohlmert is the P.M.

I must agree that trading a live murderous animal for two dead bodies is not ' kosher '. Israel needs to impose the death penalty for terrorists.

I DISAGREETOTALLY WITH THE GOVERNMENT TO RELEASE THAT MURDERER KUNTAR WITH BLOOD IN HIS HANDS. THE 2 POOR SOLDIERS WERE KILLED BY THE HEZBOLLAH, SO WHAT SHOULD OLMERT RELEASE THIS CRIMINAL FROM JAIL?

As sad as the situation is with 'kidnapped Soldiers', i agree with the Harran family. It is "insane" to negotiate with "Terrorists". The price of FREEDOM seems to be always signed with"blood", but you know - Tyranny sheds 'more' blood. I say " Israel, make the Islamofacists PAY BIGTIME!

Absolutely right. Samir Kuntar desrves the seath penalty, not freedom to kill again. Tis decision puts Jews be they Israelis, Soldiiers or cicilians, or in the Diaspora at risk by providing major encouragement to morekidnappings, with no need to keep the person alive..

United Jerusalem Petition
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, to ensure free and open access for all people.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, as an expression of the unique relationship between the Jewish People and its eternal capital.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, so as never to return to the dark period of 1947-67, when Arab control over an artificially divided Jerusalem meant religious persecution, desecration of holy sites, and wanton destruction.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, according to the current municipal boundaries, set in the wake of Israel’s defensive 1967 Six Day War.
  • I support a unified Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty, where Jews may enjoy the right to pray on the Temple Mount, the holiest site in the Jewish world.
Preserve The Temple Mount
  • For a decade, Muslim religious authorities have participated in the destruction and elimination of precious Jewish and Christian artifacts on the site of Solomon's Temple, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
  • Thousands of tons of earth, containing archaeological evidence dating back to the period of the Temple of Solomon, were discarded. Among the 'rubble' were ancient seals from a Priestly family, inscribed pottery fragments in Ancient Hebrew, Altar screens and broken columns from a fourth century Byzantine Church.
  • Since the year 2000, the Muslim religious authority – the Waqf - has blocked all archaeological oversight of the Temple Mount.
  • Meanwhile, the Waqf continues to construct Mosques on the sacred sites of Jews and Christians.
  • We believe the international and Israeli media should have unrestricted access to the Temple Mount.
  • We believe the world-respected Israeli Antiquities Authority be empowered to supervise the day to day activities on the Temple Mount.
  • Currently, the Waqf forbids any non-Muslim entrance, except on a selective and very limited basis. For instance, the Waqf does not give any observers access inside the vast subterranean rooms, from which many antiquities have been removed.
  • We demand the preservation and respect of the Temple Mount. Only full access and complete transparency for all parts of the Temple Mount can prevent further abuse and destruction of this site which has been venerated throughout history.
