Dean Godson, Director of Research at Policy Exchange, shines the spotlight on a gathering of Islamic militants who are full-fledged participants at an extravagant exposition that is parading around as a mainstream gathering of peaceful Muslims.
Mr. Godson describes some of the participants:
"But behind the cultural soft power of Islam Expo, there is political hard power, and some of it comes in quite raw, unpalatable forms. The organisers gave floor space in the exhibition section to the genocidal regime in Sudan (festooned with pictures of happy-looking black Africans) and to the “Cultural Section” of the Iranian Embassy (representing an aspirant genocidal regime) and the Algerian junta (no spring picnic on human rights)."
Mr. Godson also introduces us to the British Muslim organizers of this event:
"This perhaps becomes less surprising when one examines some of the directors of Islam Expo. All oppose al-Qaeda violence, but they are anything but moderate Muslims. They include Azzam Tamimi, a supporter of Hamas suicide bombings in Israel and an admirer of Ayatollah Khomeini; and Ismail Adam Patel, who believes that women in the West who are raped share responsibility with their attackers."
Mr. Godson's investigative work has led elected officials to boycott the Expo.
Bravo. This is a good example of how the good guys can make a difference.
The more people just stand up and say "enough is enough, and we're not falling for your bunk anymore", the sooner we will all recognize the rabid wolf in our midst. As in centuries past, Islam wants to make a bid for world domination.Again. I recommend seeing"Not without My Daughter" with Sally Field. It's a bit tv movie-ish, but it's a TRUE story about a woman and her daughter taken from the US by her militant Muslim husand, and slowly, systematically brutalized into submitting to Sharia law. She finally escapes, but it is a horrific story that has been repeated thousands of times over the years. It is no joke, people. The threat of radical Islam is serious business, and this is one American woman who refuses to wear a veil!
